教学目标: 知识目标:

(1)掌握四会单词airplane(plane),train, fast, slow, faster, slower.

(2)听懂,会说句型____ is faster(slower) than ____.并能在实际情境中进行运用. 能力目标:

能够正确运用本课单词及比较级句型表达事物的快慢. 情感目标:

培养学生小组合作中互帮互助的竞争意识. 教学重点,难点:

能够在实际情境中正确运用句型____ is faster(slower) than ____. 教具准备:

录音机,多媒体课件,交通工具图片 教学过程: Step 1. Lead in

T: Where do you live S: I live in….

T: How do you go to school S:By bus.(By bike. By car…… )

[设计意图:在这一环节中,复习有关交通工具的词汇,为下一步的学习做好充分的准备.] Step 2. Presentation

1.教学单词airplane(plane),train, fast, slow.

T: (屏幕出示一幅图片)Look, this is my friend Cathy. She wants to go on a trip to Canada. How can she go there By bus S: No.

T: Canada is far from China. A bus is slow. (板书并领读)She can go there by airplane. (拿出飞机单词卡片贴在黑板上,教学airplane(plane), 向学生介绍飞机的两种写法) An airplane is fast. (板书并领读)

T: I want to go to Beijing on this Children's Day. Can I go there by bus S: No.

T: How can I go there S: By car.

T: But I don't have a car. S: By airplane.

T: Oh. The airplane is fast, but I don't have enough money. I think I can go there by train. The train is faster than the bus, and cheaper than the airplane. The train is just right for me. 2.教学句型____ is faster than ____. _____ is slower than _____.

T: Which one is fast Which one is slow (CAI课件出示飞机和火车图片) S: An airplane is fast. A train is slow.

T: Yes. An airplane is faster than a train. A train is slower than an airplane. T: Look, which one is faster Which one is slower (出示火车和自行车图片) S: A train is faster than a bus. A bus is slower than a train. Step 3. Practice

1. 出示飞机,火车,公共汽车等有关交通工具的每对图片,让学生说出图片要表达的内容. Eg: A train is _______ than a bus but _______ than an airplane.

2.多媒体展示自行车和大卡车,出租车和飞机,小鸡和兔子,刘翔和Miss Cui等等图片,学生对比,运用句型____ is faster(slower) than ____.

Eg: A bicycle is slower than a truck. A truck is faster than a bicycle. A cab is slower than an airplane. An airplane is faster than a cab.

The chicken is slower than the rabbit. The rabbit is faster than the chicken. Liu Xiang is faster than Miss Cui. Miss Cui is slower than Liu Xiang.

[设计意图:借助多媒体和图片出示不同的交通工具,有趣的动物形象,卡通人物,鼓励学生模仿说句子,激发学生敢于表达所学句型.] 3.Student book:

T: We know Li Ming wants to go on a trip to Beijing. How do Li Ming and his mother go to Beijing Let's listen to the audiotape and try to find the answers. Step 4. Consolidation

Demonstrate a dialogue with a volunteer.

T: Boys and girls, Children's Day is coming. Where do you want to go How do you go there Talk about it with your friends. Here are some places and vehicles for you.

(黑板上为学生提供地点和各种交通工具的词,幻灯片为学生呈现创编对话时所需要的句型)

Children's Day is coming. I want to go on a trip. Let's go to _____ by_____. I want to take a ______.____ is faster than ____. _____ is slower than _____.

[设计意图:通过创设真实的语言情境来检验学生能否准确地运用本课所学句型.] Step 5. Class Closing

Homework:让学生去调查身边的人或事物,写一写____ is faster /slower than ____. 教学反思:

本节课是一节典型的关于比较级的语法课.小学阶段的语法教学应体现隐性语法教学原则,作为教师不应为学生直接讲解语言中出现的语法概念,而是应通过创设的语言情境,让学生在活动中去感悟,理解出现的语法现象,从而掌握所学的语法知识.本节课,通过创设真实的语言情景,为学生呈现公共汽车,飞机和火车的图片,教学比较级句型____ is faster than ____. _____ is slower than _____. 所以教师又充分利用了儿童节即将到来这一真实情景,为学生提供了学习英语和用英语交流的语言环境.通过本课的学习,学生较好地掌握了所学单词和句型,并能积极主动地加以运用,达到了预期的教学目标.

Lesson 21: How Can We Go to Beijing? 一、教学目标: 知识目标:

1、掌握单词airplane、train

2、掌握两组比较级fast、faster、slow、slower 能力目标:

能够在句子中正确运用fast、faster、slow、slower 情感目标:

培养学生用英语表达思想的能力和习惯 二、教学重难点

1、四会单词:airplane / plane, train, fast, slow, faster, slower。 2、两组比较级在句子中的正确运用 三、教学具准备

多媒体课件、 实物模型、词汇卡、录音机、调查表 四、教学过程

(一)Class Opening and Review 1、Greeting.

2、Let’s chant : how do you go to school? How do you go to school? By bus, by bus. How do you go to school? By bike ,by bike. How do you go to school? By car, by car. How do you go to school? On foot, on foot.

(设计意图:利用全身反应法,唱唱做做,提高学生学习兴趣,营造欢快的课堂气氛,并且为新授的交通工具做好铺垫。) (二)教授Part1

1、教授单词airplane、train

利用chant 中的How do you go to school ?对学生提问,由此复习交通工具,在复习时所用的词汇卡中放入新卡片airplane、train并教授。教授train时注意tr字母组合的发音并拓展。教授airplane时注意它的另一种说法plane.

(设计意图:复习与新授同时进行,使学生轻松自然地接受新知识。) 2、欣赏优美的北京名胜图片

(设计意图:再次吸引学生的注意力,但更重要的是引出How can we go to Beijing?进而引出fast、faster、slow、slower) 3、教授fast、faster、slow、slower

T:Beijing is so great! Do you want to go on a trip to Beijing with me ? S: Yes !

T:But how can we go to Beijing ? S: 答出各种去北京的方式。

T:There are many ways to Beijing, but I think the airplane is fast and the bus is slow. (对比教授fast 、slow 并做动作)

T:Look at the bus and the train, which one is slower ? S:The bus

T:Yes, the bus is slower than a train .

T:Look at the airplane and the train, which one is faster ?

The plane is fast.The airplane is faster than a train. but it cost too much ? I want to take a train.

Because the train is cheaper. (肢体语言对比展示fast、faster、slow、slower 后学生读大屏幕上的句子。 )

(设计意图:通过肢体语言的运用和两种交通工具的对比,既达到了对本课中的隐性语法—“比较级”的习得目的,又加深了对本课单词的记忆,另外还渗透了本课的歌曲。) 5、听Part1的录音

听音前出示任务1 :a. 模仿正确的语音语调跟读课文后小组内互相读。 b. 同桌间用____is faster than ____.

____is slowerer than ____. 造句。比一比看谁造句多而且正确。 (设计意图:学生进一步熟悉课文后进一步拓展,使学生灵活运用本课的两个比较级句型。) 6. Play a game: Guessing

通过教师或学生的描述猜出是那种交通工具。 如:It is faster than a train..What is it ? (设计意图:通过游戏,使学生对本课重点句型的意义和用法体验的更深,掌握的更牢固。) (三)教授教授Part2

1、出示任务2:Listen to the tape and answer question . a. What does LiMing want to by? b. What does his mother want to by? c. What do they want to take at last? 播放录音,学生听后回答问题。

(设计意图:让学生带着任务听录音,边思考边听,效果更佳。) 2、再次播放录音,放音前出示任务3

a. 模仿正确的语音语调跟读课文后同桌分角色读。

b.小记者活动:在小组内调查个人的旅行计划并记录下来。例如: Where do you want to go ? I want to go to Guang zhou. How can you go ? By an airplane . Why? The plane is fast.

3、展示小记者的调查结果 (四)Let’s sing a song.

1、 Ask the students read and do the actions after the teacher.

2、 TPR: Sing and do with the PowerPoint. (用全身反应法学习歌曲,再一次把本课推向高潮。)

(五)Homework 写到作业本上

1、单词 airplane、train、fast、faster、slow、slower 5英5汉 2、分别用____is faster than ____

____is slowerer than ____.造两个句子。 (六)板书设计
