Roads µÀ·

Clear road access will be maintained on the site. Any work, such as excavation, vehicle handling /unloading or siting of cranes or other large plant which reduces the width of the roadway or track or otherwise interferes with access, may be undertaken only with the prior agreement in writing of the Owner/ CPL. Proposals for such operations will be submitted to the Owner/ CPL before the work started. These proposals will ensure sufficient access for emergency services is maintained at all times and provide for effective traffic management. 15.1.1 Scaffolding and platforms design and construction will be generally in accordance with the

criteria of the Owner/ CPL.

15.1.2 All scaffolds and scaffolding shall only be erected, modified or dismantled by qualified

15.1.3 All working platform planks shall be closely laid and securely lashed at both ends with either

15.1.4 Scaffolds shall not be erected in such situation that it will impede the access of emergency

vehicles.
