《朗声高考英语复习新概念》 Unite 12 Food and Drink: Language Output & Basic Writing 江门市第二中学 林力筠 指导老师:李涛
一、教学设计原则
在英语教学中落实新课程标准,充分利用好《朗声高考英语复习新概念》,是顺应英语新高考改革的要求,提高复习备考课堂效率的必由之路。综合利用《朗声高考英语复习新概念》,围绕单元话题,贴近高考,整合发展学生语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识五个方面的素养,培养学生综合运用语言的能力探究学习、合作学习、任务型学习,所以在我的教学设计里,时时体现着这几种原则:
1、运用任务型语言教学模式,训练培养学生对语言的综合运用,实现目标,感受成功,教学进度整体把握,教学形式不拘一格。
2、课堂以学生为主体,以任务为主线,重视体验参与,教师起到“设 计者、研究者、促进者、协调者”的作用。
3、在教学中,突出交际性,注重读写的实用性,要进行情感和策略 调整,以形成积极的学习态度,促进语言实际运用能力的提高。
4、课后访谈调查,读写摘记,重视语言运用。
5、正视个体差异,倡导过程激励,以多层次、多角度、多主体的结果与过程并重的评价方式激励进步。
二、学情分析
一方面,高中年龄段的学生对周围的事物较为敏感,有自己的观点和看法,他们不满足于教科书上的知识,想获得更多的信息。在英语学习上,他们不只是想把英语作为一门死记硬背的课程来学,更希望能学到知识性和趣味性兼有的内容,从英语学习中获得更多的知识和能力。另一方面,学生对中外美食比较感兴趣,对世界各国的饮食有一定的了解因此,应结合学生的实际情况,因材施教,激发学生兴趣,让学生主动学习,学有所获。
三、教学内容分析
1. 知识背景及新课程、新教材
本单元以饮食为中心话题,内容涉及以广州菜为代表的几个国家特色食物,重点讨论了这些食物的特色,以及应该怎样介绍广州菜这一中心展开的。 2. 教学重点难点
(1) 重点:了解关于各地区饮食的内容以及词汇等表达法

(2) 难点: 正确运用各种词汇和表达法,在5句话中表达题目全部意思
四、三维教学目标 1. 知识技能
(1) 通过本课的学习使学生能够在理解的基础上,自主完成基础写作 (2) 在写作中体会并初步掌握生词、词组 句型的用法 (3) 体会写作中运用多种表达法的好处 2. 情感态度
(1)了解传统饮食的相关知识、以及各地区的饮食习惯 (2) 鼓励学生多关心了解广州菜中的传统食物 3. 学习策略(能力目标)
(1) 认知策略:通过句式学习让学生掌握正确运用简单句和复合句的方法, (2) 调控策略:
通过基础写作让学生了解到写作过程中与很多写作障碍,不可求全责备,调整心态和注意力 。 4. 交际策略:
通过谈论中西方传统节日、传统节日食物和风俗等真实交际活动提高用英语交际的能力。
五、教法分析
1. 教学方法 :问答法(question and answer),讨论法(discussion),辩论法(debate),task-based method(任务教学法) 2. 教具教学手段:
(1)Multi-media computer; OHP(overhead projector); tape recorder; PowerPoint (2)多媒体辅助教学(依据:根据本课特点以教材为本,传统教学手段和现代多媒体教学手段相结合,恰当合理呈现本课内容。)
六、具体教学步骤(Teaching procedures:)
Step 1: rules introduction (before class, 3 mins)
1. The students will have a competition in this class and the winner will get points. 2. Before we begin the class, the teacher will divide the students into 4 groups.
3.Then the students have to finish 3 missions. During the missions, teacher will choose some students from each group to answer questions.
4. If the student can get the right answers, his or her group can get points.
Step 2: Leading-in (in-class, ask & answer, 3 mins) (show the topic of this class: food and drink)
Teacher: in this unit, we are going to learn something about food and drink. Can you

tell me about your favorite food and drinks?
Students: (many kinds of answers)
Teacher: Thanks for your answers. Do you know any more famous dishes around the world? Can you introduce them to your classmates? Students: (various answers)
Teacher: Thank you, they are very delicious, aren’t they? Now I want to share my favorites with you. Let us look at the screen.
(Present the pictures of different famous foods of the world and ask students questions)
Q: Do you know these delicious dishes?
Q: Which country does this dish remind you of?
1. Sushi寿司, Sashimi生鱼片 (Japan) 2. Bulgogi烤肉, Kimchi泡菜 (Korea)
3. Red Wine红酒, Soufflé蛋奶酥/ 梳芙厘 (France) 4. Pizza比萨饼, Spaghetti意粉 (Italy) Since we have learnt there are so many kinds of food and drink around the world, can you use more words and expressions to describe them to others? Now let me show you some examples.
E.g. China is famous for its food all over the world. As a native Chinese, I like Tang-yuan best, which is called sweet dumplings in the UK, and rice ball in the US. We usually eat them on the Lantern Festival. Hope you enjoy the delicious food and wonderful holiday!
Step 3: useful words and expressions (6mins)
(show students the new words and expressions, and let students read them after teacher)
Let's learn some useful words and expressions.
Words: cuisine, light, flavor, ingredient, fresh, tender, smooth, delicious, snack, preserve, satisfy, release, internal, heat.
Expressions: be famous for, all over the world, aim to, no matter where, pay attention to, for example, an appetite for.
Mission 1: Words Dictation (card 1)
Firstly, Students memorize the new words and expressions in 2 minutes.
Secondly, teacher chooses 4 students from each group to come to the blackboard to dictate them. And the other students finish the Card 1 in the paper in 3 minutes. Thirdly, the whole class checks the dictation according to the PPT. Card 1 Useful Words and Expressions

Step 4: 6 mins
Mission 2: Filling the Blanks (card 2)
Firstly, teacher chooses one group to finish one task.
Secondly, students finish the tasks according to the tips (the right forms of the words and expressions) in 5 minutes. During that time, students can share their ideas with classmates.
Thirdly, teacher chooses 4 students from each group to show his or her answers. Tips for each task

Card 2 Filling the Blanks Task Ⅰ

Task Ⅱ
