if/unless引导条件状语从句
1. if引导条件状语从句,如果主句为一般将来时、主句为祈使句或者含有情态动词时,if引导的条件状语从句用一般现在时表示将来。 例如:
例句:We will go fishing if it doesn't rain tomorrow. 例句:You can go home if you finish your homework.
2. unless引导条件状语从句,表示“除非、如果不”,相当于if not。如果主句为一般将来时、主句为祈使句或者含有情态动词时,unless引导的条件状语从句用一般现在时表示将来。 例如:
例句:Unless your work hard, you won't get good grades. 例句:You will miss the early bus unless you hurry up.

(1)表示“应该,应当”。
(2)表示“可能,该(=will probably)” (3)表示粗暴地拒绝一项建议、要求或指示。 例句:He should work harder.
例句:Passengers should proceed to Gate. 例句:His backpack should be in the classroom.
