Superintendant or his designee. Any discrepancies found during the inspection will be addressed and corrected by the EPC and C contractors PEMOT and master mechanic as required.

a. Crane inspections shall be conducted in accordance with applicable
crane manufacturers specifications and all applicable jurisdictional codes and standards.

5.1.8 Upon successful completion of the initial and annual inspections a
jobsite load test is required. For all jobsite load testing, refer to Project Procedure PR-8710-0000-0010, Crane Load Test. An HSE Representative may be required to witness the test, depending upon project specific HSE procedures.

a) Load testing shall be conducted in accordance with Project
Procedure PR-8710-0000-0010, Crane Load Test, and any applicable jurisdictional codes, standards or regulations. Testing procedures must also adhere to crane manufacturer instructions and guidelines. A load test compliance certificate must be kept and updated. This certificate must be current at all times while performing lift operations.

b) If the load test is not successful, then the PEMOT are to determine
the necessary corrections, prior to re-testing. All corrective actions are to be filed in the respective equipment maintenance file.

5.1.9 Once the initial inspection and load test are satisfactorily completed,
and recorded/filed in the equipment file, then BSF will allow the equipment to be used on site.

5.2
On-site Crane Operations & Maintenance Support 护支持
During the course of a project, continuous inspections and maintenance is essential to the safe and reliable operation of cranes and lifting equipment. In order to assure reliable operation, daily, monthly and annual inspections are to be scheduled by the PEMOT on all lifting equipment on-site, and by the contractor for all own and/or third-party rental lifting equipment.
在项目执行过程中， 连续的检查和维护对安全可靠地操作吊车和吊装设备是非常重要的。为保证可靠的操作，PEMOT应对所有BSF现场的吊装设备排出日检、月检和年检计划。承包商和/或第三方起重设备租赁商也应列出其相应的计划。 The standard work process for the daily jobsite specific crane operations is specified below:

5.2.1 Perform the initial set-up to prepare the crane for a lift. This initial set-up includes:

a) Crane placement: place matting (if required), extend outriggers (if
required) and level the crane.

Note: Ensure any ground preparation and compaction is performed where needed.

b) Establish barriers/boundaries (where possible)

d) Check load and travel path for any obstructions or interference

5.2.2 The crane operator is to perform the daily inspection of the crane
utilizing the inspection forms provided by this procedure and the Project Equipment Maintenance and Operations team. If the crane is due for monthly or the annual inspection, ensure those inspections are performed as well.
吊车司机应利用本程序和项目设备维护和运行小组提供的检查表对吊车进行日检。吊车到期时应进行月检或年检，确保对其进行相应的检查。
5.2.3 Based upon the inspections performed above, determine if the crane is
safe to perform its function. If it is determined during the inspection that there are equipment concerns that need to be resolved prior to performing a lift, the operator is to contact his supervision and the appropriate representative of the PEMOT to have the equipment concerns resolved.
根据上面的检查确定吊车是否可以安全运行。如果检查过程中发现设备有问题且应在起吊前解决，操作员应通知其主管和PEMOT中相关的人员以将该问题解决。
5.2.4 The maintenance team is to perform and record any corrective
maintenance (repairs) performed. If repairs are done to any of the crane load sustaining parts, then a load test shall be performed in accordance with PR-8710-0000-0010.

5.2.5 Once the repairs (and load test, if required) are complete the operator
is to once again verify the crane readiness by completing a daily checklist.

5.2.6 Upon satisfactory completion of the daily checklist the crane operator is
to perform a final check to ensure all applicable lift criteria are met. Lift criteria can include such things as:

PR-8710-0000-0008, Construction Rigging Work Operations, for documentation required for the various categories of lifts.

5.2.7 Based upon the final check performed above, the operator is to
determine if the lift safe to perform. If it is determined during this final check that there are any concerns that need to be resolved prior to performing a lift, the operator is to contact his supervision to have the concerns resolved.

5.2.8 Execute the lift 实施吊装
a) If at any time during the lift there is an unexpected problem,
concern, or situation that arises, secure the lift and report to supervision and the HSE representative on site. It will be the responsibility of supervision make to necessary adjustments and reports (as required). These reports may be up to and including a root cause analysis of the event. The supervisor and the HSE representative will use a graded approach to determine the extent of reporting required.
如果在起吊过程中发生预期不到的问题、顾虑或局面，应立即停稳吊装物并通知主管及现场的HSE代表。主管负责采取必要的调整并汇报（如需要）。这些汇报可上至（包括）事件的根本原因分析。主管及HSE代表将决定需要采取的汇报方法。
b) Upon successful completion of the lift, secure the crane.
