National Treasure has Chinese audiences fired up. But don't confuse it with the Hollywood action film of the same name, in which the hidden history of the United State going back around 250 years is discovered. In the Chinese show, producers are lucky—China has a much longer history, and their plan to introduce relies is welcomed by the Palace Museum in the Forbidden City, and eight key province-level museums.
Yu Lei, director of the show, explained how items are chosen. \not to choose the most precious items. We want the ones with the most attractive stories. These cultural relics are like aged people. They have so much to tell us. If people are bored, there is something wrong with our methods.” she said.
In each 100-minute period, three key exhibits from a museum are introduced by entertainment stars, called the \of the national treasure\through short stage dramas, telling the history of the legends behind the items. Some lesser-known stores on how the items were unearthed are featured(以…为特色) in the show. In the periods, experts speak about the relics and ordinary people are also invited on stage to share their stories linked to such relics. Knowledge, entertainment, taste and an accessible approach have been put together in one show. When people see cultural relics in this lively way, they feel history.
The aim of the show is not to create a hit program but to attract more people to museums. More seasons of National Treasure are planned, and some treasures from the show are to be featured in a touring exhibition soon after the first season ends. A show like this fuels people's pride in their country.

How to Say No Respectfully
Like most people, your natural instinct(本能) is probably to help others when you can. 36 Whether you're declining an invitation to a party or turning down a new project at work, you can say no while still being respectful. Whatever the situation is, be clear, polite and firm when saying no.
Express your thanks. 37 If you have to turn someone down, express your thanks that they thought of you in the first place. You could say something like, “Thanks for considering me responsible enough to watch your kids. I'm sorry that I'm busy that evening.”
Think before you speak. If you say no immediately, it might seem like you didn't even consider the request. In order to be respectful, take a moment to think about your answer---even if you already know what it is going to be. 38
Give a clear answer. Saying no respectfully shows that you're honest and direct. 39 If you can't help, say so. If someone is asking you on a date and you don't want to go, make that clear.
40 You can say no without completely turning down the request. By setting boundaries, you can make it clear exactly what you can do and what you are willing to do. For example, you could say, \not free for dinner, but I would be coming for a quick drink after work.”
A. Find a way to compromise.
B. Take a pause, and then kindly say no. C. But sometimes, you just need to say no.
D. It's strange to feel guilty for turning someone down. E. Make it clear that you sincerely appreciate being asked.
F. If you feel it necessary, you can also provide a reason for your answer. G. Do not give people false hope that you will be able to satisfy their request.
