II. Teaching materials analyzing and rearranging 教材分析和教材重组

1. 教材分析

本单元的话题是“Interesting events”,通过单元学习,要求学生掌握如何用

Using context Role playing 过去时态谈论过去发生的事情,并能运用过去时态讲述一个故事。语法结构要求掌握由when 和 while引导的时间状语从句、过去进行时以及一般过去时。在了解目标语言的基础上,要求学生能读懂描述过去经历的文章,并进行模仿写作训练,描述一段不寻常的经历。

Section A 1a通过让学生把几个不同的人及其在UFO出现的相应位置进行

配对,初步呈现本单元的目标语言,即talk about past events。1b是一个听力活动,要求学生听录音,圈出正确的回答。学生将从听力材料中进一步获取目标语言信息,了解过去进行时。1c是一个会话活动,让学生练习when 和while引导的时间状语从句和过去进行时的表达法。2a和2b是两个听力练习,帮助学生掌握when 和while的不同用法。2c是一个小组活动,要求学生根据图片提示,仿照例句练习用when 和while造句,描述当UFO离开时不同的人在做什么。3a呈现了一封邮件和几个图片,要求学生根据邮件内容给图片排序,检验学生对目标语言的认知程度。3b是对学生目标语言运用能力的检验,要求学生能看图口头复述故事。4是一个小组活动,让学生结合自己的生活实际,以采访的形式练习过去进行时的用法。

Section B

1是一个配对练习,要求学生找出和所列句子匹配的图片,掌握

几个词汇的含义。2a和2b是两个听力练习,要求学生听录音,找出录音中提到的行为,并能根据听力材料选出这些行为的实施者。2c要求学生仿照例句谈论2a中列出的行为,练习while引导的时间状语从句的用法。3是一个阅读理解活动,要求学生根据文章内容用所学的句型回答几个问题。4a提供了几幅图画,要求学生能根据图画内容写一段故事,练习用过去时写作。4b是一个角色扮演

活动,要求学生根据提示的情境用所学过去时进行会话练习。

Self check 1要求学生对所学词汇进行应用性填空训练,复习巩固所学词汇。

2要求学生根据所列时间表写下自己在每个时间段所做的事情,是对本单元目标语言应用能力的检验;3也是对词汇的检验,要求学生从每组中找出不同类别的单词,加强对目标词汇的理解。

Reading Section 1要求学生围绕所提供的两幅图片展开讨论,从而导入文章

主题。Section 2是一篇有关Martin Luther King遇刺的文章和阅读策略介绍,帮助学生培养通过标题和主题句理解文章中心思想的策略。Section 3包括3a 和3b两个活动,3a要求学生把一些事件及其发生的时间连接起来,是对阅读细节的检验;3b是一个写作练习,要求学生模仿阅读文章,以自己生活中的一个记忆犹新的事件为中心,描述当自己听到这件事情时正在做什么。Section 4以“你认为坏事能引发好事吗”为主题,小组讨论,说明坏事如何能把人们团结起来,是对文章主题的拓展与升华。
