If you are still worrying about what to do for your science project, having a mini vegetablegarden can be a good idea. You can know more about plants by growing vegetables yourself.

No matter where you live, there is always a place for your experiment. What you need are only a few paper cups or flower pots. The most important part of your experiment is to check on your plants each day and record their growth. For the first few days, you probably can’t see much going on in your mini garden. After about a week, the little plants may come out of the soil. Keep watering your young plants and you will be amazed at how quickly theygrow! Soon, little leaves start to appear. Don’t forget to take pictures of your plants.

Some vegetables grow better in full sunlight. But some with big leaves are more comfortable staying at cooler places. So plant your vegetables in different places.

Welcome to Sports Center. It’s good to see that there are so many people wanting to know more about our sports center. Now I’d like to take a few minutes to tell you about it.

First of all, membership. All students at school can become members of the Sports Center, for ￡10 every year. To get your membership card, you need to come to the office on the second floor, between 2 and 6 pm, Monday to Friday. Now there are three things you must remember to bring with you when you come. They are: your student card, a photo of yourself, and the money. We can’t give you the card unless you bring all these; so don’t forget: your student card, a photo and the money.

Then once you have got your sports card, you will need to bring it with you when you come to use any Sports Center facilities.

I think there should be something here for everybody, and I hope to see all of you at the Center, making use of the facilities. In the course of the year, if you have any suggestions about how our service might be improved, I’ll be interested to hear from you. Thank you.
