(Use the words: budget, assess, probe, device, fulfill, competent, efficient, want every minute to count, a precious resource, stand still, pour into ) When asked what time really means, different people may come up with distinctive replies. A man of practical mind would say time a precious resource, while a man of wisdom would say time is life. A western philosopher used to say “The greatest sacrifice is the sacrifice of time.” Whereas we have an old Chinese saying “An inch of time cannot be bought by an inch of gold”. Clearly, although people are different in approach, they all agree that time is precious. Despite the fact that time is valuable, people deal with time in different ways. For example, Americans value time as something irrecoverable while the Chinese treat time as something enjoyable. Besides, to the American businessmen, time signifies money. They seize every golden minute to make money. By contrast, to the Chinese businessmen, time
