“Saman” is the most popular dances in Aceh. It is normally 36 to celebrate important occasions. It was created by a tribe in the 13th century and later developed to 37 religious messages.

UNESCO has officially recognized Aceh’s 38 Saman Dance as an intangible element of world cultural heritage, which needs UNESCO’s urgent protection.
