英文文章训练: Lesson One TEXT What is a Computer A computer is a machine that takesin informaiton and processes that data in some way. The data may be number, letters, pictures, or even sounds. The computer can perform arithmetcial operations, for example, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and power. All higher mathematical problems are reduced to thesesimple operations before being solved.
Lesson Three TEXT Compoents of a Computer System Now that you have some idea of what microcomputers can do, we can begin the discussion of how thdy do it. The idea of a general-purpose machine to solve mathematical problems was first proposed over 150 years go by a farsighted individual named Charles Babbage. The device Babbage proposed to build consisted of four components that uncannily reseble a modern computer: The store to hold data and the results of calculations: Babbage designed the storee to contain 1000 numbers of 50 digits each.

This key works by pressing it together with other keys: usually, the action is to capitalize a letter, but sometimes there may effects.
If you are not a practiced typist, you should use this key by pushing it down first, then pressing the other key with which it must work. The release both key.

【基本知识】
1、窗口组成:标题栏、菜单栏、状态栏、工具栏、最小化、最大化、还原、滚动条等。
2、菜单组成:单选项、复选项、选项卡(标签)、下拉列表框、文本输入框、快捷键等。
【要 求】
1、分别用“鼠标”和“快捷键”两种方法打开“我的电脑” 2、在打开的窗口中操作:最小化、最大化、还原、移动窗口、改变窗口大小、滚动条、关闭。
3、分别打开“记事本”和“画图”软件,然后练习如下内容: (1)活动窗口切换的四种方法。 (2)最小化所有窗口 (3)还原已最小化的窗口
(4)窗口排列(层叠窗口、横向平铺、纵向平铺) 4、任务栏属性设置: (1) 隐藏任务栏
(2) 把任务栏移动到窗口右侧
(3) 把“画图”应用程序和“记事本”应用程序的快捷方式创建
到任务栏的“快速启动”工具栏上。

【目 的】
通过该训练的练习,学员可掌握Windows基本设置,使学员独立创建快捷方式、安装和卸载Windows应用程序,打印机、字体、输入法安装、设置,熟练掌握操作步骤、方法和要领,为学习更高级课程奠定基础。
【基本知识】
创建快捷方式、开始菜单设置、管理桌面、输入法、打印机、字体、添加/删除程序、显示属性、系统等。
【要 求】
1.在桌面上创建一个以“Microsoft Word”应用程序创建的快捷方式,名称为“WORD办公软件”。
2.把C盘中的“打字高手”子文件夹下的“WWT.EXE”指法练习程序创建快捷方式发送到桌面上,命名为“指法训练”。
3.在计算机中安装一台本地打印机,厂商为:爱普生(EPSON),型号为:EPSON LQ 1600K,并设置为默认打印机。
4.在输入法列表中添加“区位码输入法”,并为该输入法指定快捷键,快捷键为“Ctrl+Shift+9”。
5.为系统添加“造字应用程序”(“造字程序”在“附件”列表中),如果已安装请先卸载,然后再安装。
