T: I have a gift for you. (Lead to balloon) What’s this? (Learn to say: balloon) What color is it?

S1: Happy birthday! This is for you. Sunny: Thank you! Sunny open it and see. T: Oh! A car.

Lead to balloon, car, doll, ball, boat, kite, plane. c. Sing a song: Happy Birthday To You! d. Show the word’s card. (3). Let’s do

a. Listen to the tape.

b. Listen, look and follow to do it if they can. c. Do the action to the tape. (4). Practice

a. Listen, read and point.

b. Read it as soon as possible. c. Play a game: What’s missing?

d. T: I think Sarah likes dolls. I like balloons and kites.

c. Play a game: How many…?

Borrow some word’s cards of food. (2). Presentation

a. Listen to the tape and look at the big pictures. b. Read after the tape. (3). Practice

a. Practice in groups.

b. Asks some groups to act it. (4). Assessment

Teaching aims: To practice: 1—12 Preparation:

a. Tape and recorder b. The big pictures Steps:

(1). Warm-up/Revision

a. Let’s sing: Ten Little Candles Dance. b. Daily oral practice. For example,

What’s your name? Nice to meet you! How are you? How old are you? c. Remember the words of foods and animals in pairs. d. Let’s chant: Dinner Time. (2). Presentation

a. Learn the numbers: 11, 12.

b. Listen to the tape and point to the right picture: Chant and move. c. Try to chant to the tape. (3). Practice

a. dvide the students into two groups:

---Move to…. --- Have/ Drink…. b. Play the game. Say it one by one:

Move to 1, have a hamburger. Move to 2, have some milk. Move to 3, have some tea.

Move to 4, drink some water. c. Show the big picture.

Remember the animals’ English name. T: Help the bird get home. Ss do it.

Get Ss to able to order“Help the cat/bear/… get home.”

1. Try to make a shaker.

2. Learn to sing a song: Happy New Year. Preparation: a. Tape and record

b. A shaker, the objects to make a shaker Steps:

(1). Warm-up/Revision a. Chant and move. b. Daily oral practice. (2). Presentation

a. Listen to the sing: Happy New Year. b. Try to sing to the tape. c. T shows a shaker. Let’s make a shaker. (3). Let’s sing (4). Assessment

Revision

Teaching aims:

1. Review the words in each unit.

2. Review the main sentences in each unit.

And get the students to use these sentences to communicate with each other.

3. Let’s do. Try saying these phrases and respond the actions correctly.
