Application sentence pattern 结构

Beginning

1. With reference to your advertisement (in newspaper) of May 2nd for a clerk, I offer myself for the post.

2. In reply to your advertisement in today's newspaper for an accountant, I am writing to apply for the post.

3. I should like to / I wish to apply for the position mentioned in your advertisement (in newspaper) of July 23rd.

Introducing oneself:

About age and experience

1. I have had 5 years' experience with a company as a salesman.

2. I am 25 years of age, and have had two years' experience in my present post, which I am leaving to better myself.

About personal ability

1. I am a good accountant and have a thorough knowledge of the English

language.

About enclosure / attachment

1. You will find enclosed / attached an outline of my education and business training and copies of two letters of recommendation. 2. Enclosed / Attached please find a resume and a photo.

About salary requirements (根据招聘广告中的要求，没有要求可不写) 1. I am quite willing to start with a small salary.

2. I should require a salary of RMB 4000 a month to begin with.
