名词性从句,和定语从句和状语从句一样,是高中阶段句法的三座大山之一。在书面表达中灵活运用

渡词总结

名词性从句,能够使文章表达更为高级。它主要包括主语从句、宾语从句、表语从句和同位语从句。

一.

名词性从句的连接词

1. 从属连词引导的名词性从句

that, whether, if为名词性从句中的从属连词,它们在句中只起连接作用,不充当成分。 ①. I trust that I am capable of doing the work well. (2019全国一卷书面表达)

②. There is no doubt that there is not any problem for me to communicate with foreigners. (2018年浙江高考书面表达)

③. To start with, what I intend to stress is that we are about to start our next lesson in Classroom 8 of the teaching building. (2017全国一卷书面表达) 2. 连接代词引导的名词性从句

what, which, who, whom, whose, whatever, whoever, whomever, whichever等名词性从句的连接代词不仅在从句中起连接作用,还要充当主语、宾语、表语、定语。

①.This is precisely what the British visitors are expecting. (2019年浙江高考书面表达)

②.What made Yue Fei most respectable was that he didn’t give up fighting for his nation even when he was wronged by some. (2016北京高考书面表达) 3. 连接副词引导的名词性从句

how, when, why, where, however, whenever, wherever等连接副词在名词性从句中不仅起连接作用,也充当状语。

①.While working, I realized how hard it was to work in the fields under a hot sun.(2019北京高考书面表达)

②.That’s why I think the trip along the Yangtze River is a better choice. (2017北京高考书面表达) ③.To practice as much as possible is where the secret lies. (2015四川高考书面表达)

名词性从句的写法

在书面表达中,可以尝试把两个简单句合并成一个含有名词性从句的复合句或者把一个简单句扩展成含有名词性从句的复合句,能提升整个写作的档次。在平时的写作练习中,可以采取以下

的步骤训练。

1. 写出两个相关联的简单句;

2. 确定好哪个是主句,哪个是从句,并确定好主句的基本句型;

3. 确定从句在主句中充当的成分是什么(主语、宾语、表语、同位语),然后确定好从句的连接词后调整好从句在主句中的语序。 例:He said a lot at the meeting. His words were extremely attractive.

先确定两个简单句中第一句为从句,第二句为主句。主句的句型为主系表;从句需要在主句中充当主语成分。把从句中的宾语a lot去掉用连接代词what引导。最后调整好语序,即为:

What he said at the meeting was extremely attractive.

名词性从句的常用句型

1. The reason why…is that… ……的原因是……

The reason why we have to grow trees is that they can provide us with fresh air. 2. It’s my sincere hope that… 我真诚希望……

By the way, it’s my sincere hope that you can spare some time for a visit to Tianjin again.(2017天津高考书面表达)

3. I learned from the newspaper/the post/the Internet that… 我从报纸/帖子/网络上得知……

I learned from your post that you want to improve your Mandarin. I am more than willing to help you with your Mandarin. (2015四川高考书面表达)

4. From what has been discussed above, we may draw the conclusion that…通过以上讨论,我

们可以得出结论……

From what has been discussed above, we may draw the conclusion that you must have self-confidence if you want to achieve your goal. 5. I hold the view that…我认为…

I hold the view that we should make the most of the Internet to keep us equipped with more knowledge.

6. What appeals to/impresses/shocks sb. most is that…最令某人感兴趣/印象深刻/震惊的

是……

In addition, what may interest your most is that I am nervous and upset when taking the exam. (2014四川高考书面表达)

7. It is important/essential/strange…that…(should)…重要的/必要的/奇怪的是……

However, it is important that we should never lose the enthusiasm to keep on trying. (2014福建高考书面表达)

8. I wonder if/whether…我想知道是否……

I am wondering if you could tell me more about this activity. (2015重庆高考书面表达) 9. Word came that…有消息传来……

Word came that the president is going to inspect our school very soon. 10. No one can deny the fact that…/there is no doubt that…无可否认的是…

No one can deny the fact that the environment is increasingly polluted in a severe way. 11. It is no surprise/wonder that… ……不足为怪

She is warm-hearted, so it is no wonder that she always lend a helping hand to those who are in trouble.

12. One advantage/drawback of…is that… ……的优点/缺点是……

One advantage of returning to the solar energy is that it won’t produce any pollution. 13. Whoever…needs to/should/will/is... 任何…… 的人都需要/应该/会……

Whoever signs up for the competition will have to register firstly.

提升训练

一. 用适当的名词性从句连接词填空。
