设计理念:本节课以小学英语新课程标准为理论依据,从小学生的生理、心理特点出发,遵循他们的认识规律,通过简笔画和自制语音教具形象生动地对单词进行了呈现。并遵循“词不离句”的规则,把词汇和句型揉合在一起进行教学,通过设计大量的活动,采用多种教学方法,主要有视听法、游戏法、直观教学法和全身反应法等,让学生在玩中学、学中玩,以一种自然的状态呈现和练习新知,培养学生初步运用英语进行简单交际的能力,让他们在课堂上找到自己的闪光点,从而增强学习的信心。
一、教材分析
本课是PEP教材三年级下册第五单元的A部分,本单元的话题为Where is my ruler?本课为本单元的第二课时。本课要求学生掌握bike,bus,taxi和jeep四种交通工具,并能在上一课时的基础上熟练运用Where is the……? It’s in/on/under……这一重点句型。
二、教学目标
1.认知目标:能听、说、认读四种交通工具:bike,bus,taxi和jeep。能熟练运用Where is ……?It’s in/on/under……句型。
2.能力目标:能熟练描述物体的位置,增强学生能动思考,有效交际和英语思维的综合能力。
3.情感目标:培养学生良好的情感态度,激发学生主动参与的热情,让他们树立自信心,体验成就感。
三、教学重难点
学生能正确掌握bike,bus,taxi和jeep四种交通工具的听、说、认
读以及在真实情境中对物体所在的位置进行回答:Where is the ?It’s in/on/under .

2.Let’s sing: What’s this? (CAI)
(设计意图:动感十足的旋律,琅琅上口的歌词,既活泼了课堂气氛,调动了学生学习的热情,又为下面新单词的引入作了铺垫.)
Step2. Presentation
1.Draw two circles on the board. Let the Ss guess what it is.Then finish drawing it.It’s a bike.Then put the bike in a toy-box.Introduce:The bike is in the toy-box.
2.Ss listen to the ring of the bus,teach the new word:bus.Put the bus on the toy-box,Introduce:It’s on the toy-box.
3.Teach taxi,jeep,under as the same way. 4.Let the taxi hits the jeep,Learn:Look out. Step3.Practice
1. Listen and do: Put two books on the desk. Put a pencil in the pencil-case.
Put a ruler under the pencil.
Put the books and the pencil-case in the bag. Put the bag under the desk. 2.Play a game: Hide andSeek
Ask a student to go to the front with his eyes closed .Another student hide the jeep.The jeep asks: Where am I?Let him guess: In the desk?On the desk?Under the desk?
3.Show the CAI: Where is the bike/bus/taxi? 4.Listen and draw: Draw a bike in the desk. Draw a bus on the desk. Draw a taxi under the desk

(设计意图:通过做游戏、画画等各种形式,配以智能教具的人机对话,为学生创造大量的语言实践机会.在玩中学,在学中玩。学生乐在其中,同时还可以和小伙伴分享收获的喜悦,培养学生间合作共享的精神)
Step4.Consolidation and extension 1.Let’s chant.
Where is the bike ? In the desk. Where is the bus ? On the desk. Where is the taxi? Under the desk.
Where is the jeep? Under the desk. 2.Make up the dialogs about the traffic tools.
(设计意图:以吟唱的形式来归纳总结本课的内容。并让学生充分发挥想象力和创造力,编造相关对话,让学生能学以致用,培养学生在实际生活中的语言运用能力)
