mrs brown's old grandfather lived with her and her husband. every morning he went for a walk in the park and came home at twelve for his lunch . but one morning a policemen heped her grandfather to get out .one of them said that the poor old gentleman had lost his way in the park and telephoned them for help , so they sent a car to bring him home .mrs brown was very surprised, but she thanded the policemen,and they left.

but ,grandfather , she said to him. you have been to that park nearly every day for twenty years .how did you lose your way?

the old man smiled and said, i didn't quite lose my way .i just got tired,and i didn't want to walk home!

why do all these people want to learn english ?it's difficult to answer this question .many boys and girls learn english at school because it is one of their subjects required for study.they study their own language and math and english .some people learn it because it is useful for their work. many people learn english for their higher studies, because at university some of their books are in english .other people learn english because they want to read newspapers or magazines in English

mr white lives in a small town , but he has a job in a big city, so he moved there with his wife and two children last week.

one day mr white is washing his car when neighbor comes. the neighbor comes .the neighbor stops and looks at the new car .then mr white turns and sees him. the neighbor says ,thar's a new car.is it yours? sometimes,mr white answers.

the neighbor is surprised. sometimes?he says, wat do you mean?

well answers mr white. when there'sa party in town ,it belongs to my daughter,mary . when there's a football game ,it belongs to my son ,mike. when it looks nice and clean, it belongs to my wife ,nancy .and when it needs to clean,it belongs to me.

tom liked driving his car very fast, and one day he hit another car .tom jumped out and ran to it .there was an old man in the car .he was very angry and said to tom ,what are you doing ?you nearly killed me!

yes , tom answered, i'm very sorry . he took a bottle out of his car and said ,drink some of this .then you'll feel vetter. he gave the man some whisky, and the man drank it ,but then he shouted again. you nearly killed me!

tom gave him the bottle again, and the old man drank a lot of whisky.then he smiled and said to tom, thank you, i feel much better now .but why aren't you drinking ?

oh,well, said tom, i don't want any whisky now .i'm going to sit here to wait for the police.
