此句中five meters high and one meter tick around the earth做定语修饰a wall ,意思是“一堵环绕地球高五米厚一米的墙”。在此句中which were used to build the wall是一个定语从句,修饰前面的The bricks and stones,意思是:被用来修建长成的砖和石灰头。

(1) Let students read the text , and point out their problems in reading . (2) Let students discuss their problems in group and try their best to solve them, if necessary ,give them some help. Intensive reading :
Explain some problems students don?t point out ,especially some long and
difficult sentences .
(三) Consolidate :
Let students do some exercises prepared for them to check whether they
have mastered they knowledge of this class.

这一部分的教学内容学生比较感兴趣,也比较容易掌握,但词汇学生
的特点就是容易遗忘,需要提醒学生学生记忆。
对于如何掌握课文中的长难句学生还有一定的难度,需要教师多教授
些技巧并适当地让学生多练习。
