It is really my honor to have this opportunity for a interview. I hope I can make a good performance today, I am confident that I can succeed and eventually enroll in this prestigious university next year.

My name is Song lei, I am 21years old, born in Hubei province, and I am currently a senior student at Wuhan University. My major is Automation. With tremendous interest in Automatic control especially in Robust control, I am here to apply for acceptance into Peking University. During my undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department, and my overall GPA ranked NO.2 among 76 students. In the past three years, I spend most of my time on study, I have passed CET-4, CET-6, National Computer Rank Examination, and I have acquired basic knowledge of my major during my three years’ school time.

I am open minded, quick in thought and very fond of Automation. I have made up my mind to dedicate myself in Automatic control. When talked about my character, I can not describe it well, but I know I am optimistic, persistent and confident.

I always believe that one will easily fall behind unless he keeps on learning. Of course, if I am given a chance to study in this famous university, I will try my best to behave well here and contribute to this department. That’s all. Thank you.
