4.谈论表示过去发生的事件——学习一般过去时的用法。

1.形容词的正确运用,根据听力材料完成练习。

本课教学内容是八年级上Unit 1 第三课时,着重训练学生的听力水平,单词辨别能力,阅读能力和理解运用能力。学会正确地运用一般过去时表达过去发生的事情,能够描述自己的假期旅行经历。

从对话入手,引导学生编写类似对话,进一步就Jane的假期旅行话题开展谈论,充分理解一般过去时的运用和日记格式的写法,采用小组合作学习的形式对短文内容加深理解,培养学生良好的生活情操。

设计教学PPT,录音机,插图,多媒体课件。

StepⅠ.Lead in

Leading in 【情景1】

T:Now,boys and girls! Look at the photo in my hand! Can you guess where I went on my summer vacation? Yes,I went to Hong Kong.I ate something delicious there,and bought some gifts for my parents and friends,but I didn’t have fun.Because the weather was so terrible.So what about your summer vacations? Ask questions by using the sentence structures of part 1e.For example:Where did…?/What did …?/Did you…?/How was…?/How were…?

[设计意图] 通过老师去香港度假话题引入1a的描述性形容词delicious,terrible等,同时可以复习前面几节的关于过去时的要点句型。为下面1e的教学作好情景准备。

Leading in 【情景2】

T:Boys and girls! What do you think of English? S1:I think it’s interesting. S2:I think it’s easy. S3:But I think it’s difficult. S4:I think it’s boring.

T:You see,these students use so many adjectives to describe English.Some adjectives are positive;others are negative.Can you give some positive and negative adjectives? The more the better!

Ss:Positive(肯定的,积极的):interesting,easy,exciting… Ss:Negative(否定的,消极的):boring,terrible,difficult…

Then ask some students to read the adjectives in front of the class. T:You’re wonderful! There are some adjectives in 1a.Let’s come to 1a.

[设计意图] 通过师生谈论英语引入描述性的形容词,为下面1a,1b的教学作好情景准备。

Step Ⅱ.Writing work (1a)

1.Point to the six words:delicious,expensive,exciting,cheap,terrible,boring. 2.Read the words and let Ss read after the teacher.

2.Play the recording for the first time.Ss only listen.
