Traffic accidents killed more than 104,000 people in China last year. Chinese cities have more cars than ever. Drivers and pedestrians must work together to make the streets safer. The law has new rules for drivers. Drivers have to slow down when they are close to crosswalks(人行横道). If people are in a crosswalk, cars must stop to let them pass.

There are other rules for bus drivers, too. If bus drivers smoke, drink or make phone calls while driving, they can be fined. Buses that carry too many people are also against the law. Pedestrians will have to walk more safely under the new law. They must cross streets at crosswalks. Also, they shouldn’t climb over the fence s along streets.

If music makes you smart and exercise helps you to think, surely exercising to music can turn you into a person who is better at learning and understanding.

A team of scientists from Ohio State University did experiments on 33 volunteers. They found that person who exercised while listening to Italian musician Antonio Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons did much better in language ability (能力 ) tests than without music.

The volunteers said they felt better after exercising with or without the music. Scientists have found that music can be good for health and education. It helps relieve stress, sadness and nervousness, encourages relaxation or sleep, wakes up the body and improves memory and thoughts.
