Business Etiquette is the art of business personnel exchanges. \respect for others\Japan is a very typical Eastern country, Japanese businessman manifested etiquette in business activities with strong oriental features; Brazil is the South American country, it not only has the local national culture, but also by the influence of European culture, as a result, its business etiquette is very unique. Ⅰ Business etiquette and culture 1.1 Business etiquette

1.1.1 Definition of Business Etiquette

Business Etiquette is a code of conduct in the business activities, it embodies mutual respect. The core of business etiquette is this behavior criterion, and used to restrain the all aspects of business activities. The function of this criterion is in order to reflect the mutual respect between people. So the learning of business etiquette becomes more and more important. Business etiquette can be summed up in one words, it is a universal demand of the business activities about people’s appearance and manners.

1.1.2 Significance of Business Etiquette in Business Activities

\etiquette\is a general definition, which includes various aspects of business activities. Therefore, its application in practice is extremely important. Successful business activities are often occurred in the environment of the business etiquette that has characteristics of both parties. Because of the business etiquette not only represents the cultural background of a corporate, but also reflects a nation's customs and habits, and the degree of civilization.

With the rapid development of the world economy, all kinds of business activities become increasingly, and the society economy development from regional economic to global economic. Understanding the different countries’ business etiquette is very important. That can help us to regulate our behavior, at the same time;

we can also convey the friendly and honest information to the others, so as to enhance cooperation emotion and leave the good commercial image to both sides, and it is good for the further cooperation.

In this article, we can get some business etiquette examples about Brazil and Japan, and further realize two countries’ national culture. 1.2 Definition of Culture

Culture is a social phenomenon, is the human society’s product with a long-term development. But it is also a historical phenomenon, is the accumulation of social history. To be precise, culture refers to a country or a nation's history, geography, customs, traditions and customs, lifestyles, literature and art, code of conduct, ways of thinking, values, etc.

Culture is the most representative sign of one nation. Through learning the culture, people can realize one country’s history and folk custom. It is one country’s forever fortune. Culture can not only express the national spirits and lifestyles, but also inherit the nation’s soul. Because of its cultural diversity and the rapid pace of economic development, it formed the unique business etiquette.

2.1 Business negotiation

Business negotiation refers to the business manner. The different economic entities for their economic interests and to satisfy each other's needs, they used some business manner such as communication, negotiation, compromise, cooperation and strategies, identified potential business opportunities. It plays a decisive role in the business activities.

Brazilian negotiating style has the typical characteristics of the Latin American people, and generally can be summarized as the following four points:

● Equality and Mutual benefit

When we do a business negotiation with Brazilians, it is necessary to show the understanding and respect to their culture and customs. Meanwhile avoiding showing that we regard the cooperation as a gift to them, we must adhere to the principle of equality, friendship and mutual benefits. For example, in Brazil for business visits, no matter how hot the weather in Brazil, wearing dark and conservative style suit are very appropriate, because the Brazilians think this manner of wearing is a kind of respect to them. Remember, you should keep your speech and deportment warm and friendly.

● Stubborn and Intransigence

Brazil national has stubborn, intransigence, and forthright personality, they do not like to compromise, and think compromise means fail and surrender, they firmly believe that the correctness of their views. For example, if you want to discuss money issues with a Brazilian, then you will be very troublesome, Brazilian known as a famous master of \bargain\these people are not afraid to reject your offer directly. However, such a forthright style is not the expression of their rude, they just want to let you know the point of their view. A business activity is often inseparable from the business banquet. If you want to make a successful banquet, we must understand the table etiquette of your business partner’s country. This is not only the respect for each other, but also the premise of a good impression.

If you want to invite a Brazilian businessman enjoy a dining for business meetings, and then you should not choose the place with entertainment projects, because the Brazilians think that you do not have a serious attitude to this business cooperation, as a result, you must choose a very formal occasion. During the dining, you should pay a great attention to your behavior.
