For us boys and girls, books are not all. We can find time to play at home or at school. Playing is about having fun. But how do we play? It doesn’t mean (意味着) watching TV or playing computer games.

In the morning, we can run with our parents to be healthy. We can play sports with friends after school. We can also do what we like after class. For example, we can draw and we can play chess with others. It is also fun to help others.

Cam is a student who is very healthy, but today he looks hot and ill and when it is time for him to go to school, he is still in bed.

“Can I stay at home from school today? I’m ill,” he tells his mum. His mum touches his head.

“OK, but you will have to look after yourself, I’m going to work now,” she says.

As soon as the front door closes, Cam springs out of the bed. He takes off(脱掉) the three warm jumpers he is wearing and puts on a T-shirt and shorts.

Then he runs for the kitchen(厨房). It is a long time after last dinner. After breakfast, Cam turns on the TV. He watches some cartoons and a VCD all morning. At eleven, he phones his friend Tom. Tom is “ill” too. Tom says he will come over after lunch.

The two boys play computer games all afternoon. Tom goes home at 4 o’clock, because his mother finishes work early.
