1. What has happened? When you are in trouble or you do something wrong , Can you guess what might have been said? 1) What’s the longest river in America? 2) How about going roller-skating this Sunday? 3) I hate you. You leave me alone .
4) What did you do ? It was a present from my aunt.
Let the students give some sentences of apoligise. Such as:
1. I’d like to apologize for shouting at you yersterday. 2. I’m sorry, Miss Smith.
3. Mrs.Black, I have an apology to make. Step 2 Listen and Speak
Let the students open the books, page 94, then play the tape for them, let them finish it.at the same time, let them listen and repeat. 1. You don’t look very happy. What’s wrong ? 2. I had to say sorry to Mr.Johnson and the whole class. 3. I made a mistake in chemistry class.
4. I had to apologize to Mike and promise to buy him another pair. 5. You must have made a thousand apologies in just one day. Step 3 Drills 1.Study new words:
