讲解步骤：1.带空读题并指出该题考查的是with的独立主格结构。
2.讲解语法点：非谓语动词作状语，其逻辑主语须与主句主语保持一致。若不一致，
非谓语动词形式须另带主语，从而构成复合结构的形式作状语。这种结构称为“独立结构”。 独立主格结构主要用于描绘性文字中，其作用相当于一个状语从句，常用来表示时间、原因、条件、行为方式或伴随情况等。在使用上先去掉原本状语从句的引导词，再将原状语从句的谓语变成非谓语即可。
3.题目中的应用：1.可以看出所填的空是表示一个原因状语从句，如果我们将其写成
一个because引导的原因状语从句则为because more and more forests were cut down，当其变为一个with的独立主格结构时，先去掉because,因为森林和砍伐之间是被动关系，谓语部分were cut down则变为cut down。因此答案即为more and more forests (being) cut down。
4. 巩固：例子：原句 After the work had been done, Wednesday（陈艺文） went
home. 改为独立主格结构，先去掉after，将谓语部分改成非谓语，
工作于完成之间也是被动关系，因而是The work done Wednesday（陈艺文） went home.
