Motherly love and fatherly love

A:For everyone , parents give their lives. Obviously, parents is most loves you in the world. But in our impression , motherly love and fatherly love are different. So, what are the differences?

B:In my opinion, fathers are more strict with us .If we do something wrong or make some mistakes , fathers will be angrier than mothers, and they will educate us about how to correct it . As for motherly love, mothers care about our daily life. For example, when I have a cold, my mother will cook some food which has more nutrition and is worried about whether I feel better.

C:I agree with you .Some people say” Fatherly Love hidden in the bottom of my heart, motherly love revealed in between the lips” . It means fatherly love happen at paternal harsh rebuke, motherly love happen at the meal you eat every meal in and the clothes you wear everyday. B:Yes, whose love do you prefer to ?

A:Maybe motherly love. My mother like my sister, I can talk about anything with her. But father also give me much love. There is no pain their child's mother and father , whatever they do just because of true love.

C:We should love our parents ,too . And in the future, we should do our best to reward the love of parents.

Romantic stories

A:Romantic is a beautiful word in many person’s eyes and it stands for a warm feeling. Many romantic stories spreads all over the world. Today we talk about some stories which we think are romantic.

B:I first thought of the story is Romeo and Juliet. Romeo and Juliet's family were rivals. But they fell in love with each other.Romeo faked his death to deceive Juliet's family without telling her.Juliet found Romeo dead in the tomb and killed herself. When Romeo woke up and found Juliet dead beside him and he killed himself.

C:Yeah,that’s well-known. Although the ending is sad, it also give us a romantic feeling.

A:There is a famous film called Roman holiday which is romantic . Audrey Hepburn who was known as the angle starred in the film. The film told a story that a princess met a reporter and finally they fell into love.

C:I have saw this film ,too. It depicts the beautiful and pure love . Although it has passed many years, it is still a classical film. In fact, Romance is a state of mind. If you can find the beauty around us , you may be more happy . If you would like it better, you may find it romantic. B:Yes, I agree. Everything can be romantic.

Unit 2

How to avoid misunderstandings?

A:In our daily life, we may have some arguments with our parents , friends and classmates. These arguments may lead to the rupture of emotion. So, how can we to avoid misunderstandings?

B:In fact, many misunderstandings can be avoided. The expressions vary from person to person, the same, people’s understandings are also different. We should express our ideas and feelings more clearly in order to make others understood.

C:That’s important. What’s more, when a person tell something, you should stand in his position to think of problems. You can have more communication with your friends and you must be frank .

A:Yes. As for ourselves, we should be broad minded and be tolerant of the differences among people. And, we should be accurate and appropriate in our handle of language, avoiding misleading words.

C:For most Chinese people, when they find something unpleasure, they always don’t say anything in the face, they just have bad impression inside. So communication is really a good way to avoid misunderstandings.

B:That’s right. If we try hard enough, there will be more understandings and less misunderstandings in the world.

A:Everything can be fine if you try your best and you’ll find the world is beautiful.

Communication problems

A: In our daily life we will come across a lot of communication problems . Such as , the way how we communication we usually use in our life , what problems we had come across between communication and so on .

B: In my life , I always have words with others . But in fact , I want to talk with everyone peacefully . So I think I may not adopt a good attitude to what we talk . How can I change myself ?

C: As for me , I can not convey my real thoughts to people who I talk with . So it always leads to unnecessary misunderstandings . Especially , when I talk with strangers I even have no words to say .

A: Now that you have some communication problems , do you think about why those problems came about ? Just say what you really think .

B: I think maybe I lack of respect for each other and their opinions . That is why I always argue with people when I have a talk . I tried to control myself , but I failed . What can I do on earth ?

C: For my problem , I think I have poor communication skills and when I face to people I have an negative feelings . But what maters most is that I fear to express my true feelings .

A: But in my eyes , I think all the problems can make a summary . They are

resulting from poor communication habits . There are some advice to help you when you are nervous . First , before the topic begin , you can take a deep breath to ease you . Then say some encourage words to develop you confidence . After that ......

B: After that , we can smile .As far as we know , smiling is the best way to show our respect to others .

C:Yes , we even can practice in our free time , I believe that nothing is impossible . If we try our best to do it . We can make it .

A: So , girl ,do not give up . I am firmly convinced that you all can make a change . You will be not afraid of communication one day . Come on !

Winners in my eyes

A:What kind of person can be described as successful in your eyes ?

B:I think different people have different ideas .Some people may say the winner is someone who has succeeded .And he may have a good job, face a warm family, or lead a comfortable life.

C:For my part, the winner is Steve Jobs. As we all know, he was co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Apple. His brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve.

A:Yes. He set an example for all of us. Unfortunately, on October 5, 2011, Jobs passed away.

B:The winner in my eyes is my mother. She works very hard to lead a better life for us .

C:How about you?

A:Yao Ming is a winner in my eyes. He is the pride of the Chinese people. He represents the highest level of Chinese basketball. At the same time, they are also Chinese foreign business card. Even though he played very well, he is still very hard. And he also participated in social welfare during his career. C:I know the idiom. This popular idiom is used to say that it is better to do something late than not do it at all.Just like Harlan Sanders, when he was 65 he succeeded.

A:As a matter of fact ,most of people have the same dream that looking forward to doing everything perfectly.But most of us will give up it in a half way.We never insist on trying it in spite of it maybe simple.

B:In my opinion , I think\on his dream ,I firmly believe that he will try his best to achieve it .Even failed ,he will never regret because of \

C:As for us, \late than never\is an attitude which we should attach importance to .Only when we hold a firm belief do we have the power to do every thing well.

A:Yes, I can't agree more. Life is long ,but we have no time to waste, however the problem difficult we run into.We should remember the idiom \never\

B:I have many dreams. I will try my best to achieve every dream, when I am tired. When I have no courage to do it. I will also remember the idiom. C: I think the idiom must have been encourage a lot of people.

Is there really a doctor in the body?

A:Do you know our body has a doctor that can treat ourselves sometimes.

B:Are you kidding ? I don’t know it ,none one tell me anything about it .I never know our body has a doctor .

C:So would I. I doubt it . why we go to see doctor when we feel sort of ill ?why the world has doctors ? why we need doctors ?

B:We take pills when we have an ache . It is the way that we always take .So I think what you said just now was not true .

A:That is a fact .Do you watch TV about news ?Some famous doctors said it’s true . Our body is a special kind of similar to the drug thing, those things are necessary to help us .And they often check our body .

B:Really ? Is it right? That means when we are sick we needn't have to go to see a doctor.

C:Maybe.But I think sometimes we should go to see a doctor if we seriously ill. How do you think about it .

A:That is a must . Experts have confirmed that our body is indeed the existence of a doctor.
