Be A Real Princess——Reading report of The Little Princess

The Little Princess,written by Frances Hodgson Burnett,is a touching novel,which tells the girl,Sara,becomes a real princess through her own efforts one day.

Sara was born in a wealthy family,whose mother passed away soon after her birth,and her father cared for her so delicately.At the age of seven,Sara was sent to the Ming Ching Girls school in London,where she met various of people and made much progress.At first,she enjoyed privileges because of his father’s prestige and fortune.Things changed suddenly,Sara lost everything as her father died of sickness.Although big rooms turned into a little attic,although the expensive fur lace dresses turned into a shabby dress,although she met with different difficulties,she never gave up and defeated them,optimistically and self-confidently.The reason why we regard Sara as a little princess is her good quality,rather than her fortune or appearance.

It is worth pondering that who can be a real princess, and the qualities a princess should have.

Benevolence

Nothing is more important than benevolence. Forthemselves, they are fully engaged and fulfilled most of the time, because they can distinguish what they want and which is the most important thing. For the people around them, they make others feel like in the sun block head to toe, which gives them a steady stream of energy. For the society, only the kind people can choose the options that benefit the majority. They can keep the balance between personal interests and social benefits. Ifnecessary, they are willing to choose

dedication.

Independence.

A girl who is regarded as a princess is always special. Besides they have the mainstream value that most people support, they can put forward rational suggestions and observe the same things from a perspective totally different from others’. That’s why not all of the good girls be princesses. Independence is the precondition,independent thought, independentbusiness, independent life and so on.

Magnanimity

The magnanimous people never evaluate people or things on basis of their own opinions. And the same, they won’t evaluate anything on basis of others’ standard. They arrive at a stage of serenity indifferent to fame and wealth. They disdain flattering, but they won’t blame people who are flattering. They love to do good works, but they won’t request others to show mercy to the poor. Because the real princess know that they should complete themselves, but they can’t enable everybody do the same.

Persistence

A number of ordinary people live ordinary unaccomplished life. Most of them grasp skills and chances similar to the successful people. They learn the success science, but they can’t do it.Some people agree that success can’t be copy. In my opinion, the most important and necessary thing that can’t be imitated well is persistence. The darkest

moment is nearest the dawn, rather than midnight. Few persons persist to the last moment to success. We can’t deny that it needs great courage.

A real princess is rational, never missing in the forest of superstition. A real princess is of principle, never falling into the abyss of chasing after fame and wealth. A real princess is never defeated. Be a good girl, be a real princess.
