学习目标：学习应用文之一通知的写作。

方法指导：认真预习，在背诵单词的基础上，借助辞典和工具书完成本学案。 I. 导学预习

1. Read the Notice in Activity 1 on P 48 and pay attention to the form.

2. Group work. Collect some useful words, expressions and patterns about sports. II. 难点突破 How to write a notice.

通知是应用文中常见的文体。此类文章写作时，既要交代清楚所给信息，还要注意言简意赅。很多同学把这种文章写成条款式的，这是不可取的。通知的内容无论长短都应该以完整的句子和段落出现。

书面通知正上方应写Notice或Announcement；

通知发布的单位可以写在NOTICE的上方或前面，也可以写在通知正文后的落款处； 通知的发布日期可以写在通知正文的右上角，但在NOTICE的下一行也行，也可把日期写在正文的左下角。

正文要交代清楚事件的主要信息，涉及到的What, Who, Why, When, Where等重要信息要一一说清楚，句子要简明扼要，在书面通知中多用被动语态的句子，如：An English contest will be held in the lecture

hall at three on June 10 … ,也常常使用祈使句, 如：Please do come on time. 等等。 III．自主学习

1. Write a similar notice and use the steps in Activity 2 to help you or write a notice according

the following:

(1) 高二（1）班在本周六晚上要开个英语晚会； (2) 晚饭后6：30 在教室集合，晚会7：00 开始；

(3) 每个同学都要表演一个节目，内容不限； (4) 欢迎老师和全班同学参加；

An English evening party will be held on Saturday evening. Every one of our class is requested to be in the classroom at 6:30 after supper. The party will begin at 7:00 p.m. Each of the students should perform during the evening party. You may tell a story , sing a song , make a speech or read a poem and so on. All the teachers and students are welcomed to attend our English evening. Everybody is expected to attend it on time.
