简单句指只包含一个主语(或并列主语)和一个谓语(或并列谓语)的句子。简单句分为五种基本句型。

考点一：主语＋谓语(不及物动词)(S＋Vi) 可简称为主谓结构，其中谓语动词为不及物动词。 eg：He swims.他游泳。

常见的不及物动词有come，go，happen，laugh，sleep，stay，swim，walk，work等。 Don't make any noise. Tom ________ now. A．sleep B．is sleeping C．slept D．sleeps

考点二：主语＋谓语(及物动词)＋宾语(S＋Vt＋O))

可简称为主谓宾结构。此句型中谓语动词后可接名词、代词、动名词或动词不定式等作宾语。有些不及物动词后面加上介词可以把它看成一个及物动词，这时后面也可接宾语。

eg：We speak English. 我们说英语。

你在课余时间喜欢读书吗？

Do you _____________ in your spare time？ 考点三：主语＋连系动词＋表语(S＋LinkV＋P)

此句型中的表语可以是名词、代词、形容词等。常用的连系动词有be，feel，taste，smell，look，get，become，turn等。

考点四：主语＋谓语(及物动词)＋间接宾语＋直接宾语(S＋Vt＋IO＋DO)

此句型中的谓语后接两个宾语，即指人的间接宾语和指物的直接宾语。通常情况下，间接宾语在前，直接宾语在后。有时间接宾语也可改为由介词to或for引起的短语，放在直接宾语的后面。

eg：His mother bought him a birthday gift yesterday. ＝His mother bought a birthday gift for him yesterday. 昨天，他妈妈给他买了一件生日礼物。

归纳：由介词to连接间接宾语的常见动词有give，pass，tell，show，lend，take，teach等，由介词for连接间接宾语的常见动词有buy，cook，get，make，choose等。

考点五：主语＋谓语(及物动词)＋宾语＋宾语补足语(S＋Vt＋O＋OC)

英语中的宾语补足语通常紧跟在宾语之后，对宾语进行补充说明。充当宾语补足语的可以是名词、形容词、副词、分词、不定式和介词短语等。

eg：I wanted her to give me some money. 我想让她给我一些钱。
