一、朗读短文。你将会在屏幕上看到一篇短文，准备一分钟，再按照提示朗读
并在规定时间内录音并回答后面的两个问题。本题5分。
If you go to a bookshop, no assistant will come near to you and say, “Can I help you?” You needn?t buy anything you don?t want. You may try to find out where the book you want is. But if you fail, the assistant will lead you there and then he will go away. It seems that he is not interested in selling any books at all.
There is a story about a bookshop. A student found a useful book in a shop, but it was too expensive for him to buy. He couldn?t get it from the library, either. So every afternoon, he went there to read a little at a time. One day, he couldn?t find the book from its usual place. Just then, the assistant came up to him and pointed to the book in a corner. “I put it there in order not to be sold out.” said the assistant. Then he left and the student went on his reading.

My twin brother is called Daniel, and he is four minutes younger than me. We were both born on the 5th of January, and I think that we look alike very much. Daniel is a lot taller than me and he has very dark hair, but we have the same eyes and nose and smile. We weren?t always in the same classes at school because my parents wanted us to be a bit more different. We used to be dressed the same way, but different in color, me in red and him in blue, and we used to have a birthday cake that was always half red and half blue, but I guess we are quite different. He?s really, really active, and just very different from me. At school I was always in the top classes getting ?A?s and he was always failing the exams. He did a lot of sports but I didn?t, so people say we are very different.
