My name is Tong Huijia, you can call me Jaina. I’m your local guide during your stay in Hangzhou. My job is to smooth your way, care for your welfare and try my best to answer your questions. Hangzhou is one of the important tourism cities in China,famous for its natural beauty and historical and cultural heritages.Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang province.It is the political,economic and cultural center of the province as well.It is one of the 15 vice-provincial level cities in China.Hangzhou is about 100 kilometers southwest of Shanghai. It is one of China’s seven ancient national capitals. There is a popular saying “Above there is heaven, below there are Hangzhou and Suzhou.” There are many well-known sites in the areas around West Lake.Such as Lingyin Temple, Six Harmonies Pagoda. Hangzhou is also well-known for its silk and tea.

Now we are heading for your hotel—Shangri-la Hotel, a luxurious, five-star hotel. It is located beside the West Lake, so it’s convenient for you to take a walk around the lake.

As we are approaching the hotel, I would like to give you a brief out line of your tomorrow’s schedule. In the 7:30 am, I’ll wait for you at the parking lot and then we are going to the West Lake and visit some scenic spots around it. At around 12:00 am, we will have lunch at Louwailou Restaurant, the most authentic Dongpo Pork can be served there. After lunch, will head for Tea Valley, the Longjing Tea there is one of the best variety of West Lake Longjing Tea. And we will be there for dinner.
