Lesson 8 In the Library

学习内容：

let's practice I II 学习目标：

熟悉会用在图书馆向管理人员借书时所用到的基本句型： What can I do for you?

I would like to borrow a??.

Would you like an English one or a Chinese one? Please return this in two weeks. 学习重点：

熟练并灵活运用课本中的英文故事书，并能够在实际中熟练应用和图书管理员之间的对话。 学习难点：

能准确运用本课所学知识和图书管理员进行交谈，管理员是怎样为他人提供帮助的，读者怎样寻求帮助的日常用语。 导学准备：

1.教师准备录音机，磁带

2.教师将let's practice I II中的图片制成卡片 导学过程：

一．问题指向，预习现行（Warming up) 教师可先让学生预习本课对话 要求：在预习完之后能做到会读下列句子，并结合图片内容基本掌握下列句型的使用场合以及简单用法 Can I help you? I would like to ?. Would you like?or?？ I will return?to?. Shall ? to?.

二.呈现目标，任务导学（Presentation）

首先让学生朗读let's practice I，然后教师讲解： 1.在以前已学过几个有关购物的几个日常用语，如： What can I help you? Can I help you? May I help you? Can I do for you?

和本节课的\的句式不同，但汉语意思相同，在不同的内容情景中译成不同的意思。例如： A：What can I do for you?

B: I want to borrow a book in Chinese. A: What is the name of the book? B:The Snow White.

A:When will you return it?

B:He will return it in two weeks.

对话中的in表示用??的意思，而不是在??里的意思。 In two weeks 中的in表示在??之后的意思。

例如：I shall return it to you in two weeks. You speak in English.

本文主要运用了一般现在时态和一般将来时态，让学生首先说出一般将来时态的谓语构成，然后教师板书：

1）will 加动词原形 2）shall加动词原形

3) be going to加动词原形

让学生与所学过的一般现在时态的谓语构成加以比较，然后分组练习，进一步巩固练习。 三．强化训练，当堂达标（Practice and Consolidation) 学生分组讨论并朗读Let us practiceII

学生分组或同桌之间进行问答练习，教师放对话录音，让学生说出以下几个重要句型。 Would you like English one or Chinese one? I shall return it to you in two days. Do you have any pop music tapes? 四．课后作业，布置预习（Homework design)

1.完成英语活动手册page41 I II

师准备录音机，磁带 导学过程：

一．问题指向，预习现行（Warming up) 通过模仿跟读感悟对话

通过小组合作学习，解决疑难问题。

通过归纳总结学会在图书馆如何用英语会话方式借书。 二.呈现目标，任务导学（Presentation） 教师出示问题：

1、Who is in the library?

2、What are they talking about?

3、How many people are there in this dialogue? 学生小组合作探究老师提出的问题：

4、学生分组或同桌之间进行问答练习，教师放对话录音，然后辅导重点句型： (1) Do you have ?？ (2) Would you like?？ (3) Show?to? 5、“找一找，说句子”活动，同桌学生用一本书翻开listen and read,教师读其中的一句，学生争取首先用手指出这句话并大声朗读。

强化训练，当堂达标（Practice and consolidation) 听录音，学习课文，并跟读 (1) listen and read (2) let's read 6、听录音学习课文

Listen to the tape and answer the questions A：What can I do for you?

B: I want to borrow a book in Chinese. A: What is the name of the book? B:The Snow White.

A:When will you return it?

B:He will return it in two weeks.

1、理解会说会用会写以下单词和短语 keep a book, finish, renew a book

2、学会询问时间长短的句型 “How long may I keep??”，掌握情态动词 must的用法。 3、能准确理解本课对话内容，并能在实际生活中和别人进行练习。 【学习重点】
