2）区分定语从句与强调句式

如果我们见到“It is/was ... that ...”这样的句式时,便可能就是定语从句或强调句式了?下面是二者之间的几点区别?

1. 在定语从句中, it是指示代词,相当于this或that? 而强调句式中的it是作主语,无任何意义,只是起改变句子结构的作用?例如:

It is the money that I have earned this month. 这就是我这个月挣来的钱?(定语从句) It is money that can help him out. 能够帮他摆脱困境的是钱?(强调句式)

2. 能引导定语从句的有关系代词和关系副词,而强调句式中只能用连接词that, 在强调人时,偶尔也可用who(whom)等?例如:

It is the place that I once visited. 这就是我曾经参观过的地方?(定语从句)
