I wanted to share something that put a smile on my face this morning. You will know what a difference a simple act of kindness makes to a person.

My company ranks in the top 10 among the companies in America. With this being the case, a lot of times we run into situations where there is a language impediment.

Last week while I was at work, one of my co-workers, Maria, twisted (扭伤) her wrist while lifting something that might have been too heavy for her. She speaks little English and my Spanish is quite poor However, we have never had difficulty with communication.

Are people less happy or more happy the older they get? If your answer is more happy, you are right. A study found that people generally became happier and experienced less worry after the age of 50. In fact, it found that by the age of 85, people were happier with their life than they were at 18. The study showed that levels of stress were the highest among adults between the ages of 22 and 25. Stress levels dropped sharply after people reached their fifties. Happiness was the highest among the youngest adults and those in their early seventies. but the people least likely to report feeling negative emotions were those in their seventies and eighties.
