What does the man/woman mean when he/she says that? What can be inferred/implied/concluded ?when he/she says this?

做这种重听题时，不要看笔记，而应该目视前方做微笑状，苦思冥想所重听段落的具体含义，其答案即为这个含义的同义改写，以称作微笑型重听题。
