Unit3 Could you please clean your room?

Section A (1a--2d)

Learning Goals:

一、语言知识 (常用词汇、短语和表达)

rubbish,take out the rubbish, fold, sweep, floor, mess. 二、语言功能

Make polite request and ask for permission using “Could you please + do sth? Could you + do sth.?” 三、学习策略

1.通过联系日常家庭生活中的chores体会could用法。 2.运用相关动词短语进一步熟练运用结构。 四、情感态度

通过学习学会帮助父母做家务,学会感恩、学会分享。

(设计意图:目标引领,简洁概括本节课的学习目标,提出学习内容、方法。明确教师教学思路。)

Step1 Previewing and testing

一、Look at P17-18, put the following into English orally, then write them down without looking at the text.

1. 叠衣服 2.扫地 3. 整理床铺 4. 洗餐具 5. 打扫起居室 6. 请你去倒垃圾好吗?___________

二、Look at P17-18, put them into English orally, then complete them without looking at the text.

1. 玛丽邀请我周末去她家。

(设计意图:从短语到句子,检查学生的预习情况,准确把握学情,为进一步展开教学做准备。)

Step2warming up and leading in

T: Being a volunteer is great. Do you want to be a volunteer? T: Now I’m running. Ss: Yes.

T: Helping others is important, and caring about our parents is also important. Do you often help your mom do the chores? S1: Yes ,I do.

T: What chores do you usually do ?Let’s come to 1a.

1a Do you do these chores at home? Discuss them with your partner.

(设计意图:由日常生活导入教学内容内容,两人讨论方式导入新课。既能呈现新知识,又让学生感觉与日常生活联系紧密。)

Step 3While-listening Activities Listen for the general idea of 1b.

1. The general idea of the conversations is about ________ A. the chores that Peter do

B. the chores that Peter’s mother does

C. the chores that Peter and his mother does 2. Listen for the specific ideas of 1b

1b Listen. Who will do these chores? Check “√”Peter’s mother or Peter. Post-listening Activities P17-- Section A, 1b. Listen to the tape and repeat.

Make conversations about the chores in 1a Step 4 Pre- listening Activities

T: Peter is a good boy. He often helps his mom do the chores. But sometimes he wants to go out for dinner. He often ask his father for permission. What does his father say? Let’s come to 2a(设计意图:这个任务的设计一个目的是为了让学生在学会了新结构后进行运用,能完整地叙述表达自己见解。并能轻松地完成听力任务) While-listening Activities

Listen for the general idea of 2a.

1 .The general idea of the conversations is about “ ________” A. the things that Peter wants to do

B. Peter is asking his father for permission C. Peter’s father is busy

2. Listen for the specific ideas of 2a .

2a Listen. Peter asks his father if he can do four things. What does his father say? Check “√” yes or no

2b listen again. Why does Peter’s father say “no”? Draw lines to the reasons in the chart in 2a.

(设计意图:在听细节上首先要注意学生对所听的内容有个大致的了解,第二次听或第三次听都是听取细节,因此要设计好听力练习。再次听是让学生听音跟读,旨在调动眼视听众感官深刻体会文章内容,主要的是培养学生的语音语调,并对学生掌握不准的词汇的读音进行学习或纠正。只有输入的地好才有下一步的输出即听后的说。因此在对听力材料的处理上,要多用心。) Post –listening Activities Listen to the tape and repeat.

2d2 Role- play the conversation in pairs.Then go to the front of the classroom and perform it to the whole class.

(设计意图:本环节主要训练学生的书面表达能力练习学生的对话及综合运用语言的能力重视学生的笔头训练,巩固本课所学知识,提高学生学习兴趣,活跃课堂气氛。)

Step 6 Inquiry into knowledge by translation 探究一 1.Could you please clean your room?

Cloud you please do sth.? 是表示请求的交际用语, 意为“请你。。。。。。好吗?肯定回答用 “ ”,否定回答用 “ ”.其否定形式是在please后加, 即Cloud you please not do sth.? 请你不要做某事好吗? 【当堂训练】

1、---你可以倒垃圾吗? ---当然可以。 1、 请你不要开窗好吗? 探究二

______、 ______ 、______ 等复数名词做主语、被看作整体时,谓语动词用单数。

【当堂训练】

①Ten years _____ (be)too long.

(设计思路:学生分组讨论,以“兵教兵”,“兵练兵”的形式,培养学生合作学习的能力。将能解决的问题,在小组内解决。难以解决的形成小组汇报,教师帮助解决。)

教学反思

亮点:

1. 预习检测和当堂检测题设计较好,学生能很好把握

现在进行时态的各种句式变换,有拓展有延伸。能进一步将重点反复呈现现,并能得到反复锻炼。重点训练了学生的听说技能,题型设计由易到难,在具体练习中知识得以强化和巩固。同时顺利的进入新课。 2.本课时是听说课。所以注重了学生的听力和表演技能的培养,少部分的内容训练了他们的笔头能力。 3.使用建议:操练环节要利用身边的图片或照片来让学生进行口头操练,先同伴之间互相对练,互相指出错误,再在全班同学前描述。再次利用图片或照片来检查书写,为下一步展开打下良好的基础。 翻译探究使用建议:

“翻译探究”的主要设计目的是让老师讲解语言知识

为学生自学语言知识。学生使用“翻译探究”时可以和答案同时使用,帮助自学、探究、发现和归纳,学生个人学不懂时可以以小组形式互助,若还不会,老师

再讲解,这是先学后教,以学定教。
