三、重点单词、短语运用 (这一块是重点)
1. be supposed to 的用法;be supposed to have done 的用法; suppose/supposing/assuming 引导条件状语从句
2. tolerate的用法: (忍受做某事)tolerate doing / being done
3. deserve 的用法: (值得做某事)~ sth; ~ doing sth. = ~ to be done
4. explain 的用法: ~ sth.to sb. = ~ to sb. sth. ; explain to sb. that 从句 注意:没有~ sb. sth(不接双宾语)
5. insist 的用法: insist on doing sth. ; 重点:insist 接宾语从句,“坚持要求干某事”,(should) + do; “坚持说,坚持主张,认为”,用陈述语气
6. harm的用法:do harm to / be harmful to ; harm/ injure/ hurt/ wound 7. forbid的用法:(forbid-forbade-forbiden)(禁止做某事); ~ sth. / ~ sb. sth. / ~ sb. from doing sth. / ~ sb. to do / ~ doing sth. 8. tend 的用法: (趋向于做某事) tend to do sth. = have a tendency to do sth. ; tend to :照顾,照料

14.control 的用法: (控制)(be)in control of ; take control of ; keep … under control ; lose control of

18. turn out的用法:主语+ turn out + 表语(adj. / n./ to be)= It + turn out + 表语从句 e.g. The party turned out to be very successful. / It turned out that the party was very successful.
四、 重点语法:定语从句
[知识链接]引导定语从句只能用that,不能用which的场合:
1、先行词是all, everything, something, anything, nothing, none, few, little, much等不定代词;或是先行词被all, every, some, any, no, few, little等修饰时;如:Is there anything that I can do for you in town? 2、先行词被形容词最高级或有序数词the first, the second?, the last修饰时;如:The first thing that we should do is to work out a plan. 3、先行词被the only,the very, the right修饰时;如:This is the only answer that I can give you now.
4、先行词既有人又有物时;如:Can you remember the scientist and his theory that we have learned?
5、当主句是由who或which引导的特殊问句时,定语从句中常用that,不用who, whom或which;如:Who is the man that is standing there? Which is the T-shirt that fits me most? 单项选择
