A) System FMEA range:
A system can be regarded as composition of each subsystem. These subsystems are designed by different group generally. The focus of the system FMEA is to ensure that all interfaces and interaction among the subsystems composing the system and the interfaces of this system, other systems of the vehicle and the customer are covered.

Fill in the name and number of the project analyzed. Use the most concise words to explain that the project analyzed shall meet the design function, including the operating environment of the system (e.g.: specified temperature, pressure, humidity range and designed life (and related information (e.g.: measurement/measurant). If the project has multiple functions and different failure modes, all functions shall be listed separately. 5.8.10 Potential failure mode
As to a specific project and its function, list each potential failure mode. The premise is that this kind of failure is possible to occur but not occurs certainly.
A) Potential failure mode refers to the conditions that the parts and components, subsystems or systems is likely fail to or can not to realize the expected function described in the project/function column (for example, expected function failure). This potential failure mode may be the cause for potential failure mode of a higher subsystem or system or effects of potential failure mode of a lower parts and components.
