As teenagers, you have many dreams. These dreams can be very big, such as winning the Nobel Prize, 26 they can be small. You may just want to become one of the top ten students in your class. Once you find a dream, what do you do with it? Do you ever try to make your dream 27 ?

Follow Your Heart, by Australian writer Andrew Matthews, tells us that making our dreams come true is life¡®s biggest challenge.

You may think you¡®re not very good at some school subjects, or that it is impossible for you 28 a writer. These kinds of thoughts prevent you from reaching your dream, the book says.

In fact, everyone can make 29 dream come true. 30 first thing you must do is to remember the dream in your mind.

Don¡®t let it leave your heart. Keep 31 yourself what you want. Do this step by step and your dream will come true faster because a big dream is made up of many small ones. There 32 difficulties on the road to your dreams. But the biggest one 33 from yourself. You need to decide which is the most important. Studying instead of watching TV will lead 34 better exam results, while saving five yuan instead of buying an ice cream means you can buy a new book. As you get 35 to your dream, it may change a little. This is good as you have the chance to learn more skills and find new interests. 26. A. as B. but C. for D. or

In the morning, we went camping along a path in Green Natural Park. We were happy because it was a 36 day. We were expecting an enjoyable two-day holiday. On the way, we kept singing and making jokes. However, in the afternoon, when we finished our 37 at one o¡®clock, it was dark and windy. Soon, there was a shower. Unluckily, none of us brought 38 . We ran about but we could find no place to hide.

Twenty minutes passed and it was still raining, There were 39 to go before we reached the campsite (Ò°ÓªµØ). It was even worse that our small compass (Ö¸ÄÏÕë) showed that we went to the wrong way. We got 40 ! We had to make a quick 41 as it was raining heavily. Chris said we could set up a tent to hide in, so Mary and Tom helped to set up the tent. Chris and I tried to make a fire to keep us 42 . But we were unable to light the fire, as everything was 43 . We dried ourselves, chatted and waited inside the tent. At about five o¡®clock, it stopped raining. We decided to 44 the camping trip because all of us had been very tired. This camping trip may not be very 45 but we know each other better. And the most important thing I¡®ve learned from this trip is the importance of team spirit.

Once a tiger was in a cage. Soon a man went by. As soon as the tiger saw him, the tiger began

to cry, ¨DPlease, let me out.¡¬ ¡°No,¡¬ said the man. ¨DIf I do, you will eat me.¡¬ ¡°I will not eat you. Please let me out.¡¬ the tiger said. At last, the man believed it. When the tiger jumped out, it roared at the man and was ready to eat him.

¡°Wait!¡¬ the man cried. ¨DYou ought not to eat me. Let us ask others what they think.¡¬ ¡°OK. You may ask three others.¡¬ the tiger said. The man asked a tree. The tree said, ¡°I give shade (Ê÷Òñ). And yet I am cut down. Let the tiger eat you.¡¬ Next, the good man asked a bird. The bird said, ¨DI hurt no one. Yet people hunt and kill me. Let the tiger eat you.¡¬ The man asked a road. The road said, ¨DI don¡®t care if the tiger eats you. People could not get along too well without me. Yet all day and all night people step on me without even a ?thank you¡®.¡¬ The tiger was ready to eat the good man. Just then a dog came by. The man told the dog the whole story.

¡°I don¡®t understand,¡¬ said the dog. ¨DThe tiger wants to eat you because you put him in a cage?¡¬ ¡°No, no,¡¬ said the man. ¨DSome other men put him in a cage.¡¬

¡°Oh! He is going to eat you because you do not have a cage.¡¬ the dog said.

¡°Silly dog!¡¬ the tiger cried. ¨DDon¡®t you understand? I was in the cage. This man let me out.¡¬
