否定式疑问句：

Doesn’t she understand?

注意部分否定的结构： Not all…=All…not… Not both…=Both…not… Not every…=Every…not…

cannot…too.. / cannot… more: 越…就越好；再…不过了。 You cannot be too careful.

延续否定句指的是前面已经有一个否定句，后面又追加一个或数个否定句，这种追加的否定句可称为延续否定句。常翻译为：不…也不…。

排除否定句指的是在一个句子结构中，一部分被肯定而一部分被否定的结构。在排除否定句中含有except, but之类的词，通常译为：除…之外。 In China students learn English at school as a foreign language except for those in Hong Kong. (SEFC, Book1A, P10)

There is no way out except by boat. (SEFC, Book2A, P62)

形式否定句是指形式上常有no, not, never, none, nothing等否定词，但句子在意义上是肯定的。翻译时,常采用反译法。
