5. 能理解故事大意,并能分角色读一读、演一演故事情节及对话;
6. 通过两人夹食物和读演故事的形式,使学生理解团队合作和坚持不懈的重要意义,学以致用。
教学重点:
1. 能听懂、会说、会读词组:poke some food, scoop up food, cut up food, pick up food, work in pairs, work hard, try again and again, give up, Well done! 2. 辨别餐具的不同作用,并作出描述:We eat the … with a …
3. 能理解故事大意,并能分角色读一读、演一演故事情节及对话。
教学难点:
1. 熟练掌握餐具作用类词组poke some food, scoop up food, cut up food, pick up food,并能跟着音乐节奏进行chant的练习;
2. 掌握单词的正确发音:dinnerware, poke, scoop, alone; 3. 通过两人夹食物和读演故事的形式,使学生理解团队合作和坚持不懈的重要意义。
课前准备: 1. PPT课件;
2. 每个小组分得若干零食;
3. 刀、叉、勺、筷子实物,一盘蛋糕和一盒零食; 4. 标题、词组、句型; 5. Enjoy “No more!”
1. T: Good morning, boys and girls. Nice to see you. Let’s enjoy a rhyme and try to
follow it.(与学生说说唱唱)
2. T: Do you like this rhyme? Ss: Yes, I do.

【Step1】Greetings and free talk:
T: Oh, boys and girls, you’re very good! I want to make friends with you. I have some hobbies. Do you have any hobbies? (与学生交谈hobby,点评)My hobby is enjoying delicious food. This is my favorite food: beef. (带读2遍) Do you like it, too? Ss: Yes, I do.
【Step2】Presentation and practice 1. T: What else do you like?
(PPT展示不同食物和饮料,并请学生用I like…自由回答, 老师及时点评) 2. Teach: dinnerware
T: Everything looks so nice! Look, we can put them in different dinnerware. (Teach: dinnerware) T: There’re many kinds of dinnerware. Look, this is a plate. What dinnerware can you find in the picture? (让学生自由说说图上的餐具)
T: Excellent! Look, we put the beef on a plate. We put the noodles in the bowl. Where can we put other food? (Review: a bowl, a plate, a cup, a glass) 3. Teach: poke food, scoop up, cut up, pick up
T: Do you want to eat the food? But how? With our fingers?
Of course not! We need some other dinnerware. Sometimes we need a knife.(读一遍)We can use a knife to cut up food. (Teach:手势 cut up food) 同法教其他词组。(分组读,做出动作,或让根据动作配上词组)
T: Look at me. What does it mean? Tell me the phrase. (老师表演,学生说词组) 【Step3】Match
T: Now look at the picture. What can the spoon do? (完成配对) We use the dinnerware every day. They are very useful!
【Step4】Chant:
T: Now, boys and girls, let’s have a chant. Let’s say and act. First, listen to me and watch me carefully. Just listen and watch. (加上手势)
Fork, fork, poke some food. Knife, knife, cut up food.

【Step5】Match: (PPT 食物-餐具搭配)
T: Look at the beef! It’s very delicious. How do we eat it? We eat the beef with a knife and a fork. (Teach: 句型,读一遍)
T: How do we eat the noodles? Ss: We eat the noodles with a fork.
T: What else can we use to eat the noodles? Ss: We eat the noodles with a pair of chopsticks. (完成练习)
T: I think you know these dinnerware very well now. Different food need different dinnerware, and different people use different dinnerware. Here’s a tip for you: people

【Step6】Look, read and say
Actually, long, long ago, people didn't know how to use chopsticks. Let’s watch a cartoon to find out what happened to chopsticks. 1. Watch the cartoon
2. Read the story by themselves
3. Now let’s watch again, before that, think about these questions: (出示问题,分段观看)
1) What is in the town?
Ss: There are bowls, cups, plates, and glasses. 2) Who comes later?
Ss: Forks, knives, spoons, and chopsticks.
3) Are they happy to see each other? Ss: Yes, they are.
4. T: How do they greet to each other? Please read the story and underline the answer. (请学生划出答案再自己说说。T: Are they right?)
1) Look at the picture, and read the dialogue together. (看图读读句子,模仿语气) 2) I’ll be the old dinnerware. You’re the new ones. Let’s act. (then, exchange) 3) Work in pairs to act. 5. Ok, let’s go on.
1) What do the dinnerware do? (看动画回答)
Ss: The forks poke food. The knives cut up food. The spoons scoop up food. 2) Can the chopsticks find a job?
Ss: No, they can’t. They cannot do anything alone. (Teach: alone) 3) Poor chopsticks! I think they feel sad. What do they say? (划出答案读一读,看动画模仿语气,教师示范,学生表演)
6. T: Do they get an idea? Ss: Yes, they do. What is that? Listen carefully.
Ss: Let’s find a friend, work in pairs, then, we can pick up the food! (Teach: work in pairs) (看动画模仿语气,单独表演)
7. T: I think that’s a great idea. How do they pick up food?(看动画模仿语气) T: (请学生和我一起示范用手指夹食物) Let’s play a game. Use your fingers as chopsticks in two. Look, we are working in pairs! We can pick up food! (再示范一次)It’s your turn now. Show me how to work in pairs. (同桌表演)
T: I have a box of food here. Do you want to get them? I think you must work hard. (Teach: work hard) It’s not easy. You need to use real chopsticks in pairs.(请学生两人一组到前面表演,碰到失败时,用try again and again, don’t give up, 或work hard鼓励)

8. T: Can you tell me why could chopsticks pick up food in the end? (看动画回答) Ss: Chopsticks work hard together, work in pairs, try again and again, and they don’t give up.
