1.特殊疑问词+to do 结构：

他告诉我们怎样去那里。 我想知道在那一刻说什么。 我们不知道什么时候开会。 2.meaning 是 mean 的名词形式。常用句型为：What is the meaning of…? What does … mean？

3.something new 形容词修饰不定代词时或者不定副词时，常放在所修饰词之后。不定代词和不定副词有：something,anything,nothing,everything和somewhere,anywhere,nowhere,everywhere等。

4.I also advise you to talk about the films and songs with your friends. advise 是advice的动词形式。 advise sb to do sth 5. …and I am afraid to speak to her. be afraid to do sth 害怕做某事

外面太黑，我害怕出去。 他不敢碰那条蛇。 辨析： be afraid to do sth: 主观上的原因不敢去做。

我不敢在那么多人面前说英语，我怕出错。 be afraid of doing sth：指担心出现doing 描述的状况和结果。 他怕丢脸。 6.smile at … 对…微笑。smile at sb 对某人微笑。laugh at:嘲笑，取笑。

他对她微笑。 不要嘲笑穷人。 7.It’s + adj + 动词不定式

It’s naural to …:做某事是很正常的。it 在句中无意义，是形式主语。真正的主语是后面的不定式短语，目的是平衡句子，避免头重脚轻。

早睡早起很重要。 拓展：It’s + adj + for sb + to do sth.（表示事物特征）

对他来说学外语是很难的。 It’s + adj + of sb + to do sth. （表示人物性格、品德）

戴维太傻了，居然把山地车放在外面。 8.suggest ：建议。相关短语：suggest doing sth/suggest sb doing sth.

我爸爸建议我去公园散步。 【Unit 3】

9.stop to do sth : 停下来正在做的事情去做另一件事情。 stop doing sth : 停止正在做的事情。 10.in addition to : 除了…之外，还有…。

除了拜访几个老朋友之外，他还陪父亲待了几天。 【本模块语法】 表示建议的举行及用法：

Shall we / I + 动词原形？ ----咱们去散步好吗？ Let’s（not） + 动词原形…----让我们踢足球吧。 What/How about + 动词ing形式？----去购物怎么样？ Why don’t you /not+动词原形？ ----（你/你们）为什么不早点来呢？ You’d better(not)+动词原形… ---你最好不要在这停车。 You should (not) +动词原形… ----你应该早起床。 It’s a good idea to + 动词原形… ---去国外旅游是个好主意。
