Some of you have asked for a guided tour but we don’t think that’s a good idea. So in this first week, we run a series of talks which focus on different aspects of the library and its resources. You really do need to know more about how to access the computer information. Clearly, you can find lots there but much of it is useless information as it is from highly debatable sources, so be careful. Naturally, we still have the full range of classic reference books for you and there are several copies of each one. There is a deadline for you to return your books so that they are not missing from the shelves for too long. If you get stuck looking for things, you can ask the library assistants.
