情态动词can意思为“能、会、可以”,它有含义,但不能在句子中单独做谓语,只能和动词原形一起做句子的谓语。含有情态动词can的肯定句,can不受主语人称和数的影响,即无论主语是第几人称,can都不发生变化(I/You/We/They/He/She can + V原+其他),而把肯定句变否定句,也只要在can后加not,或缩写成can?t即可;变一般疑问句也只要把can提到句首,(Can you/we/they/he/she + V原+ 其他)其他部分不变。因为用can提问,所以答语也为:Yes, …can/ No, …can?t.例: (肯定句)I can sing and dance. (否定句)I can not sing or dance.

★用基数词按钟点 + 分钟的顺序直接写出时间。

★表示整点,用基数词 + o'clock,注意o'clock须用单数,可以省略。 如: eight o'clock 八点钟,ten (o'clock) 十点钟
2. What time 和when都表示“什么时候”但是它们的区别如下:
(1) 用what time提问时间,回答应为具体的时间点,即几点、几点几分等。 eg. ---What time do you go to school? ---At 7:00.
(2) 用when提问时间,回答为不具体的时间点,如:可以是年、月、日、上午、下午、晚上等。
eg. ---When is your birthday? ---It's May 3rd. 3. 英语中时间的表达法

1.It takes +人+时间+ to do…(事情)“做某事花了某人多长时间”,take表示“花费(时间)” eg: It doesn?t take long to walk there.走着去那儿花不了多长时间。 It?ll only take you a short time.只花你一小会儿时间。 在英语中,如果做主语的成份过长,会导致句子头重脚轻。为了避免这种情况,更符合英语表达习惯,人们习惯用it做为句子的形式主语放在句首,而把真正的主语如动词不定式,动名词短语,甚至是从句放到后面。 课文中有两个句子就是这样,如
It is easy to get to school.(真正主语是to get to school)即To get to school is easy.
It is their dream to have a bridge.(真正主语是to have a bridge)即To have a bridge is their dream. 2. I ride my bike to school I go to school by bike.
在这两个句子中,第一句谓语是ride,“骑”,ride my bike说明了去学校的方式。而第二句,谓语是go,把by bike这个介词短语做方式状语用。有同学造句时,用成I by bike to school.这是错误的,by bike是介词短语,不能当谓语去用。此句明显缺谓语动词,所以错误。 类似:
I take the train to school. = I go to school by train.
