Bamboo is one of the nature's most surprising plants. ①Many people call this plant a tree, but it is a kind of grass.

Friendship Day is a great day for celebrating friendship. It falls on the first Sunday of August every year. Celebrating the festival was firstly started by the US in 1935. But now ①this doesn't only happen in the US. People in other countries are interested in it, too.

Look around and you'll see people are busy on their smartphones. Smartphones do make our lives easier than before. But have you ever thought about what ①they mean to your eyes?
