Module 2 Unit 2 They have seen the Pyramids. 【学习目标】
1.掌握重要的单词和短语:move,send,Germany,France,tower,ancient,king,queen,Arabic,way,mix,miss,count,count down 2.灵活掌握并运用下列句子: (1)They have seen the Pyramids.
(2)They have been to many interesting places.
(3)At the moment,Mike and Clare in Cairo in Egypt,one of the biggest and busiest cities in Africa.
(4)They are counting down the days. (5)They have friends all over the world.
3.通过对本课与音乐会、西餐、梦想、飞机旅行以及出国旅游的相关信息的学习,要求同学们训练阅读能力,就情境能够向他人介绍自己的旅游经历,并关注中西方的自然环境与文化,培养热爱大自然的情操。 【重难点】

1.Mike Robinson is a fifteen-year-old American boy and his sister Clare is
fourteen.迈克·罗宾逊是一个15岁的美国男孩,他的妹妹克莱尔14岁。 fifteen-year-old意为“15岁的”,是“基数词+可数名词单数+形容词”构成的合成形容词,各单词之间用连字符连接,只能做定语。 “基数词+years old”也意为“??岁的”,但只能做表语。
2.It has sent Peter to work in Germany,France and China before.公司以前把彼得派往德国、法国和中国工作过。
send sb. to do sth. 意为“派遣某人做某事” 而send sb.to sth.意为“派某人去某地” send for 意为“派人去叫”
3. They have been to many interesting places.他们去过很多有趣的地方。 (1)“have/ has been to +地点名词” 表示曾经去过某地,强调主语的经历,现在已经返回,不在那里了,不能和时间段连用。
(2)“have/ has gone to +地点名词” 表示已经去某地了。强调主语已经离开,可能在去某地的路上,也可能已经到达,总之,目前不在说话的地点。 (3)“have/ has been in/ at +地点名词” 表示待在某地,可以与表示一段时间的状语连用。
例如:(1)Mr Li has been to Beijing twice. 李先生去过北京2次。 (2)-Where is your father?你爸爸呢?
- He has gone to Shanghai..他去上海了。
(3)I have been in China for 3 years.我在中国待了3年了。
4.However, they still enjoy learning it.但是他们仍然喜欢学阿拉伯语。 (1)However副词,意为“然而;但是”,表示转折,不与but连用。 (2)enjoy doing sth.喜欢做某事
5. Are they looking forward to going home?他们期盼回家吗?
look forward to 意为“盼望;期待”,to为介词,后跟名词、代词或V-ing形式。
例如:Daming is looking forward to the holidays.大明正盼望着放假。 【变式训练】 单项选择
