摘要
UGMoldWizard是UG系统的一个独立的智能化设计注射模具的模块,它运用知识嵌入的基本理念,按照注射模具设计过程的一般顺序来实现模具设计的整个过程。在此过程中,它只需根据一个产品的三维实体模型,即可建立一套完整的且与产品造型参数相关的三维实体模具。在UG平台上设计注射模具,大大提高了模具设计的效率。以洗发水瓶盖为例,设计者利用UG软件提供的MoldWizard模块,完成模具设计的全过程。这样就大大减少了模具设计制造的周期,取得了显著的经济效益。

Abstract
UGMoldWizard is an independent mode of UG system to design injection
mold
intelligently,
which
uses
the
basic
knowledge-embedded theory to realize thewholemold designing
process in a normal order of injectionmold designing process. In the process, UG can establish a complete 3-D mold related to the product parameters only on the 3D productmode. The efficiency of the mold design are greatly improved by using UG to design and program injection mold.As the Shampoo bottle cap for example, the designers complete the design of plastic injection mold .So, it decreases the time of mold—making with the result of increasing economic efficiency.
