Join in 四年级《 Breakfast(Part3、4)》教学设计

Teaching Aims:

1、The pupils understand the sentences below. It’s time for breakfast. Listen. Open the door. There is a little dog.

It’s hungry. Get your sausage. Take a bite. Give the rest to the dog.

2、Listen and mime the Action story. Then number the pictures.

Teaching Point:

Understanding the Action story and carrying out. Teaching Aids: Card-stapes. CAI etc.

Teaching Process:

Ⅰ、Greetings and free-talk

T makes greeting with class and ask: Hello What’s your name? Nice to meet you.

Ⅱ、Warming up

Say a chant: Breakfast (Let Ss say and dance)

Ⅲ、Revision:

Using the CAI let the pupils play a guessing game. Revise the kinds of breakfast.

Ⅳ、Presentation and Practice

STEP1 1.CAI showing sausage .Teacher introduces the word and the sentences below. a. Get your sausage. b. Take a bite. 2. Pupils listen and imitate STEP2. Practice

Teacher says the sentences. Ss repeat and act. a. Open the door. b. Listen

c. I’m hungry. d. Get your sausage e. Take a bite.

STEP3. Learn the Action story

1.Teacher acts Toby saying: What’s for breakfast? And sticks kinds of breakfast cards on the board. 2.Stimulate pupils to talk about Toby’s breakfast.

3. Teacher plays the story on the tape and acts out the Action Story.

4. The pupils listen imitate and say 5. Act out in groups 6. Act out in class STEP4 Consolidation

1. Number the pictures. Ss listen and Number the pictures

2. Listen again 3. Check

Teacher says number; the pupils do the action STEP5 Ending

The pupils say a chant: What’s for breakfast

Blackboard design:

It’s time for breakfast. Listen.

Open the door. There is a little dog.

It’s hungry. Get your sausage.

Take a bite. Give the rest to the dog.
