Abstract Adduction of methyl eleostearate with phenols were studied. The effects of prepara 2tion condition such as the types and usage of cata 2lyst ,reaction time , reaction temperature and molar ratio on the reaction were studied. HPL -MS indi 2cated that the main product was the adduct of 1
mol eleostearate and 1mol phenol. IR indicated that eleosterarate was adducted to the parasite of phenol.
