read these words and phrases and try to understand their meanings : raining, windy, cloudy,

sunny, snowing, Moscow, Boston, terrible, pretty, not bad, pretty good. Step2 小组合作 1. Read and practice.

1. 讨论句型： How’s the weather in Shanghai ?

(1 ) How’s the weather? 天气怎么样？ ① 后可接时间、地点。如：

How’s the weather ? 今天天气怎么样？ How’s the weather Sichuan? 四川天气怎么样 ② 回答用“It’s + 天气”，如：

— How’s the weather today? — It’s cloudy. ③ 同义句为：What’s the weather like? 如： How’s the weather in Beijing? =

④ 对“天气”提问用“How’s the weather?”如： Today is sunny. → How’s the weather today?

（2）weather n. 天气， 名词，不能与不定冠词a, an 连用。其同音 异形词是 （是否）。

如：It’s a bad weather. （这句话是错的。应该去掉 ）

2. 讨论句型 It’s cloudy. 多云。

(1 ) it pron. 在本句中作主语，指“ ”。此外，it还常用来指“时间，距离”等。 应注意的是，it 在句中有时不需要译成中文。可根据上下文去理解和翻译。 翻译下列句子： It is cold today. What time is it now ?

（2）cloudy adj. 多云的，它是由名词cloud (云) 加后缀-y 构成的形容词。表示天气的这类 单词还有：

sun 阳光 → 晴朗的; rain 雨→ 下雨的；snow 雪→ 下雪的 wind 风 → 多风的; fog 雾→ 多雾的；

【点兵一】现在进行时的一般疑问句

现在进行时的陈述句变为一般疑问句的方法是：把助动词 提到句首，并将 大写，再将句末的句号改为问号。肯定回答为：Yes, ... am / is / are (不可用缩写形式)。；否定回答为：No, ... am / is / are not.。(可用isn''t或aren''t形式)。如： (1) — Is she still helping Li Ling? 她还在帮助李玲吗？

—Yes, she is. 是的。/ No, she isn''t. 不，她没在帮李玲。 (2) —Are you listening to music? 你正在听音乐吗？ —Yes, 是的。/ No, 不，我没听。 所以“你在等我吗？”应该表达为： ? 【点兵二】现在进行时的特殊疑问句

现在进行时的特殊疑问句结构为：疑问词 + 一般疑问句?。对特殊疑问句的回答，不能用yes或no，而要根据实际情况来回答。如： 1. —What are you doing? 你正在做什么？

—I''m studying English. 我在学英语。 2. — they ?他们正在干什么？

—They are reading.他们在读书。 3. — Mike ? 迈克在做什么？

—He is watching the football match. 他在看足球比赛。 2. 讨论句型 How’s it going ? 情况怎么样？

How’s it going? 是表达对朋友、家人的关怀的常用语。回答时可根据不同情况来回答。

Pretty good! Great! Not bad!

Just so so. Terrible! （试着写上汉语意思）

表达对朋友、家人的问候，还可用：How goes it? / How’s everything? 这两句话的意思

都是“近来怎么样？”答语与上面的相同。 Step4 训练巩固： 1. Listening
