英美文学方面：
* 英美文学概貌方面：可阅读常耀信著《漫话英美文学：考研必读》的第二部分(英国文学史话)、第三部分(美国文学史话)以及第四部分(英美文学参考试题)，对英美主要作家的主要作品进行提纲契领的了解；第四部分为参考试题。
* 英国文学方面：
(1)The Norton Anthology of Major British Authors. Read the introductions of literary periods, of authors, and of their major works just so that you may get a bird’s eye view of the country’s literary history.
(2) 王佐良先生等主编的《英国文学名篇选注》(1983年商务 印书馆版) 。
(3) 复旦大学编《英国文学选读》 。 (4) 参考陈嘉先生著 《英国文学历史》。
